Fantastic Foil
I bought this foil to enhance embossing projects. I saw a demonstration online. It is very effective and sticks well to the paper. I was able to reuse the sheets a few times because the embossing patterns used left a lot of the foil behind. I bought the foil on sale, and because I have been able to reuse the sheets it was an incredible bargain. The effect in using the foil with cardstock and an embossing folder was quite dramatic.

Not as good as I was hoping for
Bought because I was looking for something easy that was casual use rather than going the route of a laminator or paste and heat gun, etc…This works ok but it’s pretty finicky. It only works well with writing fonts, not cutting fonts switched to writing. It only does lines and sometimes not all that well. If you want foil fill you need to cut adhesive foil or go the deco foil route. On the days try Cricut decides to play nice, it makes lovely designs.Final answer: Would only recommend for small projects such as small greeting cards or gift tags. It’s kind of fickle.

Not sure if it is the foil or the tool
Have tried multiple times, with the foil transfer included, and have never had one consistent design. Was very disappointed. Better results with a pen by hand. Seeing how the reviews are mostly all good, I don't know what I am doing wrong. I even bought another foil brand, same bad results. There are gaps where it doesn't transfer, even with more pressure in settings. Pretty much better not to use than have ugly results. Cricut is a very trustworthy brand, so I will keep it on the shelf for now. Maybe I'll figure it out some other day.

Great tip
Bought this tip to do foil on cards. Works well. However, you must fully tape your foil down or it will not work well. There were no instructions to tell you to do this and since I am new to Cricut, I just put a bit of tape on all four sides, so as not to damage my project. My foil was not fully transferred on my practice card.

awful product. Plus way too expensive
Michaels has a major sale on it right now with their foil to for a fraction of AMAZON's pricing. However i don't think its worth it even if its on sale. It does not foil evenly, taping down the sides of it is soooooooooo time consuming and frustrating, you get that foil stuck on the matt and its over. Plus you can only use cricut foil there is no cheaper hack. Oh and if you are printing foiling then cutting for some reason design space royally messes it up and does not foil around the area in the box but instead foils the area where it would be without the box. Anyways, returning its way since its way too expensive for what it is not consistent enough or efficient.
