May buy more. I would avoid the bottled version though..

I’ve never tasted anything like this! I probably won’t ever buy it again because it must be an acquired taste. I was expecting something totally different but not like this. If I had to describe the taste I would have to say it tastes like soy sauce and some type of plant that I can’t place at the moment. When it’s ice cold it does have a sort of different taste but it stillisn’t great. I’m testing any and all out of the US sodas at this time.

One of my favorite квас varieties. Many of the imports I have tried are overly sweetened to the point of tasting like a cola. Ochakovsky tastes more like a home brewed kvas, tart with a mild sweetness and a pronounced rye flavor. This is the perfect beverage for a hot summer day after mowing the grass or doing yard work, very light and refreshing.

i tried this product before several times from the same brand. the problem was that the store id get it from is over an hour away so i thought id order some online. the taste was really off and i genuinely thought the drink was expired based on the taste

I was expecting the хлебный квас, but this is just a malt beverage like a lot of Latin American countries drink. I was disappointed, but it was my bad for not double-checking whether it was bread kvass, or not. It’s not bad at all; it tastes like malt/molasses. If you love malt, this drink is for you. I love how fast they arrived, though. Wonderful, quick service.
