My wife bought me one of these for my birthday as I am always losing my van keys (I often say, if you added all the time up, I probably spend a total of about 20-30 minutes a day frustratedly searching job sites looking for my keys).Well this thing works brilliantly. Synced it with my android smartphone, using the Chipolo app, in a matter of seconds. If I can find my keys, I just press the button in the app and the keyfob rings loudly enough to hear from a fair distance. It also works the opposite way, a double-tap of the keyfob will ring your phone if you can't locate it. And the app also has a map showing the last known location of the keyfob. It really seems to work well - absolute godsend to people who, like me, are in the habit of putting their keys "somewhere safe" and immediately forgetting where.
