Easy to add to our current system. Worked well to expand and use for doors and windows. Price point was same as direct buy from simply safe but faster shipment with prime.

I updated to the SS3 in 2018 and have been using these sensors every since. I easily get 5 - 7 years out of these sensors. They are very easy to set up and pair with your base station. Depending on your security settings, the sensors will notify the base station when a door is open (with the alarm off) and a tone will let you know if door has been opened and of course if the alarm is set, you will get an audible alarm from your security system. If by chance, you do have an issue with the sensor, just call SimpliSafe and they will replace it. Highly Recommend

I don't know.. I had to replace 2 of my sensors on my Simplisafe system (2 months old) that kept going offline, The reason was these sensors were in a detached garage just out of range from the base unit. I was going to modify the new sensors to extend the antennas, after adding them to the system i have zero problems with them communicating with no mods. Not one single issue in a few months so far. . I wonder of they upgraded them from the older factory ones they send you with the kit. They work better!

I have had my SimpliSafe system for about a month. I found it VERY EASY to install and connect to the base. It basically does it by itself when you turn it on and name each sensor whether it be the motion detector, the glass breakage sensor, entryway sensors that you put on the doors and windows, the cameras or even the extra 105dB Sirens that are also wireless. It is all extremely easy to install and connect to the SimpliSafe Monitoring. I have shopped for security systems for a couple years now and decided on this one because they had a special deal where I could get a free camera. I was really happy when I found out how well the system works and the fact that if the Wi-Fi goes down it will go straight to cell phone ability and contact SimpliSafe Monitoring if needed in an emergency. I also like the fact there are sensors you can buy later like a water leak sensor, CO2 sensor, temperature sensor so your water lines won't freeze which would be good for vacation cabins and such. They are all very easy to add later when you want to. TODAY I found out I get a discount on my homeowners for having a monitored alarm system. I am so impressed with the SimpliSafe system. YES I would definitely purchase the entire system again and probably will soon for a second property I own. Without a doubt this is an impressive system.
