Bought the pair of sdr8’s and paired them with the skar 800.1 amp. I am very pleased with the sound these put out. Some people think I got 12s in the back of my suv. They hit hard and low

i know people say bad things about skar but this is the best purchase i’ve ever made. they are so loud and make my whole car shake like crazy ! best subs i’ve ever bought . i’ve tried many other brands like kicker and other ones but this is by far the best sounding ones.

Was able to install this kit into my mk6 GTI. The subs have more range and sound way better than the cheap Amazon alternatives. Very glad I spent extra to get this nicer kit. Includes everything you need to install, minus the tools.

First off, these showed up promptly with no hiccups. My initial impression was that everything seems to be of high quality, the box is really nice and the wiring kit is nicer than a lot I've worked with, probably one of the best ones I've used. A lot of cheap kits claim to be 4 gauge and it's 6 or 8 gauge wire inside a enormous insulator, this was not the case, the wiring is also very flexible which indicates high quality and makes for less hassle when it comes to running the cable. Not gunna lie, when I pulled the amp out of the box and saw how little it was my heart kinda sank, but as soon as it was all hooked up and running it was quickly bounced back into place. These things hit SO HARD and sound SO CLEAN. I'm 100 percent satisfied after running them for 3-4 hours. Something to keep in mind is the box is enormous, it takes up 80 percent of my 08 tsx trunk, the box is about 20% larger than I expected, but it's about 30% louder than I expected it to be, so it still comes out on top. I might swap to 1 12" evl in the future, but as someone who has owned 10 or so "budget" bass setups this setup is incredible for the value. No sticker though! Please send one so I can continue bombing my tool box with things I enjoy!

Was more then I was expecting for just 2 ten's!! I've had 5 or 6 different set ups and several brands of audio equipment over the years. And honestly, this set up here hits harder then anything else Ive had. Sound great in the back of my Durango! box is very heavy well made, only compliant is i wish the ground and power wires came as copper n not this liter gauge aluminum wire. But all n all great buy for the money!

With over 30+ years loving Car Audio, back in the Day I would of said to steer clear of Pre-fab Subwoofer boxes.... To get real Loud Quality BASS you always needed to build or have a custom box built for whatever Subs you had... That is NO LONGER the case now. These companies and the Technology with modern subwoofers and Bass Reflex Enclosures are Incredible! This is my 4th (yes 4th) and final Sub Box (A keeper) ALSO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SPEND ALOT OF MONEY OR HAVE MULTILPLE SUBWOOFERS AND 1000'S OF WATTS TO GET LOUD BONESHAKING BASS!!! I've personally owned the following LOADED Prefabs: Kicker Comp 12s "Kicker Ported Box, JL Audio Slot ported "with w3 12s not the W0s, Fosgate P2 12s Fosgate Ported Box..... All of these were dual 12's in the same Chysler SRT (Sedan) facing rear with the Same Amplifier (SKAR RP1200----1900 Watts RMS @ 1ohm) and this SKAR dual 10 SDR box absolutley wins over all of these!!! It's crazy to think a pair of 10's have more Output than a pair of 12's...... But again this was all done in the same car, same amp etc. I wish I would have just pulled the trigger on the SKAR first. My only dilemna now is I have to address the front stage as the BASS is overwhelming the mids and highs!.... Im still only at half gain on the Amp. TIP for SEDAN Owners: One thing having a sedan is the wheel wells protrude up making the width of a Box an issue.. Im right 33 inches wide and the SKAR is 34.. The Solution was 2 Yoga (Hard Foam see pics) blocks which raise the box 3 inches and allow me to clear the protruding wheel wells now allowing me to push the box all the way to the back of the Rear Seat.. and as a bonus the blocks act as isololation reducing vibration energy from the enclosure and the Vehicle. These Blocks work Great and are cheap

I have owned at least 30 subwoofers from various brands and in every size from 6.5" up to 18" and these two little 8's are absolutely impressive. I have a Toro R4 amp and I believe this is a perfect match for these subs. I've been trying to find something that was loud and sounded good in my mustang,but nothing quite seemed to sound great until I gave these subs a chance. Still breaking these subs in so I haven't turned up the power yet,but right from the get go, it was loud! I've never owned Skar products before,but these little subs are no joke. For some reason they hit low, I guess the box is perfectly matched, but I never expected such deep base from a pair of mid level 8's. I'm feeding the pair about 400w at the moment, so it'll be interesting when I match the output to their RMS rating of 700w (combined). Got these at a good price ($220) so if you can pick these up for a similar price, you will not be disappointed.

Was going to return this as it is a little large for my car, would have had to remove backseats, however the cost to ship it was too high and Im not about to lose a third of what I paid for it, it is an awesome subwoofer so I will just keep it new in the box until I can use it, I still stand behind Skar Audio and it gets a 5 star rating from me.
