Poor customer service from iCera
In our home of two people we have the S-10 model from iCera’s iWash line, so I can’t speak to this S-11 model specifically, but I can speak to my experience trying to deal with iCera when my S-10 model bidet began leaking after about 7 months of use. Spoiler alert: they ghosted me.The unit was a dream right out of the box; install was straight-forward and we were wondering why we hadn’t gotten a bidet way sooner. These things will keep you from flushing so much toilet paper down the drain. It’s amazing.Anyway, at about the 6 month mark we noticed the water pressure coming out of the cleaning wand had diminished. I reached out to iCera via email and it was recommended I check to make sure the mesh filter on the water inlet hose from the wall didn’t have sediment build up, causing the drop in pressure. I checked and it was clean as new. I got busy and another month went by before I could follow up, but in that time the thing began to leak orange water from the back case where all the electronics are. I reached out to iCera via email, looking for some help as to what was causing what seemed like rusty water to seep out of the thing. I heard nothing back from them. I sent another email with pictures. Nothing. Another email with more pictures, this time with the thing taken apart to show them the dried rust inside the unit. I even asked for warranty service to help get our 7 month old bidet back to as close to new as I could. I’ve yet to hear anything from iCera and it’s been months. After their initial attempt to help me troubleshoot by telling me to do the same thing the manual suggests, they didn’t seem at all interested in servicing their product.I can’t recommend buying an iCera product in light of how they treated me.Update Dec. 23, 2020: I put the bidet back together and it was working fine. I tied off one of the water lines inside that wasn’t attached to anything, thinking that’s got to be where the leak was coming from. I think this might have an air intake line or overflow line? Who knows, they won’t talk to me. But, the bidet has not leaked since being hooked back up around Thanksgiving. But, as of a couple days ago, the unit has stopped responding to the remote control...which is the only way to use this device’s full suite of features. Yes, I changed the batteries. I can still operator the bidet’s basic wash on/off function from a button on the unit itself, but that’s it. No fan, no water temp adjustments, no moving the cleaning wand forward or backwards. Not a great product if you want something that will last more than a few months. And not a great company if you have trouble with their poorly-made product.
