This may be the first thing I have ever purchased that I saw on an informercial. - though I bought it from Amazon.I have to say, it really has solved the problem of dropping things between the seat and the center console in my car. So, because it's functional I rated it well. It's basically just a molded piece of plastic with a small flat bottom and wider opening at the top lip. To install you simply slide it down between the seat and the console. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it tends to not stay where I put it exactly. The reason is that what holds it in place is just the fact that the lip is wider than the bottom (sort of like a flattened funnel). Over time, the plastic adjusts to the pressure between the seat and the console and the force it once had holding itself in position seems less. It still works, but I have to adjust it periodically. This is still way better than trying to fish a phone or keys between the seat and console. Also, if you change seat positions sliding back and forth, the caddy may move as well.I like it so much I bought a set for my wife's car, too. However, the gap between her seat and console was smaller, so we could not use it. So, if you do not have at least 3/4" gap between your seat and center console, I'm not sure it will fit easily. Why don't car makers build this into the seats to begin with?

Greatest value is for catching crumbs or other debris between seat and console
The Catch Caddy is made of a heavy weight, semi-rigid plastic that is designed to slide into the space between the center console and the driver's seat (and between the console and the front passenger seat; sold as a pair). I have a Subaru Legacy Outback (1999). The space (with catch caddy in place) is so narrow on the driver's side, that only a slip of paper would fit into the center of the caddy. The passenger side caddy opens slightly wider when in place. I see its greatest value will be catching crumbs or other debris from falling into an area hard to vacuum, and not as a storage space.NOTE: If you are looking for a product that won fans and big money support on a national tv show, please check out the completely different product, "The Original and Patented Seat Gap Filler Drop Stop", which came out in 2009. Per its inventors, this "GAP FILLER is made of neoprene (wetsuit material that is waterproof and stainproof). It has a squishy center that molds to any size gap, completely sealing off the area. It also has a patented seat belt slot, to fit snugly around the seat belt catch. This anchors the Drop Stop to the seat, allowing it to move back and forth with seat movements, and covering the gaps around, in front of, and behind the seatbelt catch, providing full gap coverage"I downgraded the Catch Caddy from four stars to two stars after learning it is not the product I saw (and admired) on tv. I'll keep the Catch Caddy but the gap coverage is not complete - although better than nothing in that space.

I was not overjoyed with the product itself
This car caddy arrived right on time and is exactly as pictured. I have no issue with the seller and would probably order from them in the future. I was not overjoyed with the product itself. It falls down and becomes wedged under my seat whenever it is moved. If you never move your seat, it may suit your needs quite well. It is hard plastic and I had to maneuver it some in order to position it correctly. The plastic did bend but I doubt seriously it will break. I purchased this caddy because I was so sick of constantly losing my phone and other small items in the black hole that exists around my driver side seat. It does function well to 'catch' items which would otherwise fall between the seat, but that is only when it actually remains in position. However, for the price I suppose I can live with it.

Great Idea But Not Very Functional
I was very excited when I ordered this product and was looking forward to using them in my car. I received product on time as expected and in good condition. Packaging was excellent. However, when the catch caddies are inserted between the seat and the console, they slip all the way down to the floor of the car, so much so that I can't even see them. If I put my cell phone in the caddy when I get in the car, by the time I drive down the street, the caddy has slipped down to the floor of the car and it becomes difficult to reach for my phone. I have to reach down and pull the catch caddy up from the floor and try to wedge it in tight, but it always slips down again. After it slips down to the floor, I forget that it's there, so what's the use in having it there at all if I can't see it. It's a great idea but less functional than I expected.

Works for me
I bought these because I was tired of my daughter dropping things between the car seat and center console and so far, it works as advertised. The space between my seats and console is very narrow so I wasn't sure if these would fit but I've had no problems. The Catch Caddy is flexible so it can conform to irregular spaces (I have electronic seats so there are a bunch of wires that these caddies have to accommodate). Also, the usable space these create for small miscellaneous items is nice. Anyway, I got these for a low price (+/- $7.00) and they work for what I got them for, so I'm happy. Recommended only if you have a narrow space between the seat and console in your vehicle.

Works great!
Keeps the area between the center console and my seat clean! When it’s time to clean my car I just take them out and hand wash them. Easy peasy!

Great idea but not ideal
I was excited about this product because although I love the "Drop Stop" product I was using, once I had a dog who sits in the front seat the dog hair was constantly attracted to the soft fabric. I thought the Catch Caddy would be the perfect alternative. My problem with it is that it works its way down fairly quickly, so you have to pull it back up at least once a day or you'll have to pull it out from below. Secondly, because it is squished between the seats its a very narrow space for putting anything in (I wanted to put my reading glasses there but they were rubbing against the edge.) And finally, although this may sound nit-picky until you try it, but the edges are narrow and therefore a little sharp for the pushing down required. Great idea, but I guess I'm hoping for perfection! I do like the fact that I can take them out and wash them in soapy water every few days. Would probably be just fine for many people.
