Stronger than the plastic OE cap, doesn’t leak and has good fit and finish, i was worried about this products quality but it did not disappoint

Stock lid had some threads that were messed up and causing a leak. After trying to fix in the dark 3 times I finally saw the threads and how they had "broken off". I ordered this before going the Cat replacement fuel filter route and replaced the stock cap and the leak is gone. Probably my fault for tightening too much and messing the old threads up, but this looks nice and does the job. 2014 ram 6.7

Nice aluminum cap to replace the stock plastic one. I was worried the Plastic one would eventually strip and wanted to proactively replace it. Threads on fine, seals up well with no leaks. The factory plastic on plastic really freezes up on there after a year and can be extraordinarily difficult to crack loose, even when only torquing to the recommended 22ft lbs. the aluminum solves this and comes off much easier, but still never backs off between fuel filter changes. Definitely recommend this to others with the 6.7 Cummins.

4 star because it had a couple burs in the treads but easily fixed, fits good, so far doesn’t leak. Perfect fit with a 28mm. Definitely would recommend over the OEM plastic cap.

This thing seals up nicely and seems to be high quality. Significantly better than the cheap plastic OEM cap and you can actually fit a wrench on it. 2017 Ram 3500 6.7

This thing looks great, but it just doesn’t seat right on the threads and o ring of the canister. Looking at reviews, I am the only one that has reported this. The truck stalled when I put it in gear, the fuels system was pulling air. Reinstalled several times, clearing fuel rail pressure codes each time. Replaced ugly knuckle busting OEM cap… truck runs great. I am glad everyone has had good luck. Thing looks great, feels like quality. Just didn’t work for me. Ps. I have done every fuel filter change except the first one, on this truck. Same filters and process every time.
