Definitely recommend. Draw water away from your foundation!
My first one lasted 4 years, in NC, through a few hurricanes and thousands of intensely hot days, before it cracked on top. Easy choice for what to choose to replace it.

Cheap plastic, don't pay too much
Vastly overpriced from this seller. There were none in stock at my local big box store when I decided to purchase. These plastic extenders should cost less than $10 each. Maybe $10 for both, even. I'm not exaggerating, this is an inexpensive product. Check your local stores first. This was meant to be a temporary fix until I put some proper downspout elbow connections on my downspouts. Even at that, it's not a good stop gap solution. Hard to fit the openings on my downspouts, and the connection is not tight. Rain still leaks out.I wouldn't purchase this again, it's not right for my gutter issue. But if you're sure it's what you need, look for a lower price.

Dirty rain gutters
This item was dirty. Probably sitting in a wharehouse for a long period of time. I have to wash and hose them down before using them.I expected clean products.

A must if you have rain barrels
These tend to get brittle and break when exposed to southwestern sun.

Total waste of money
I purchased 8 of these for my new home. One broke the first time I tried to extend it. Two others broke within the first couple of months when the kids bumped into them or kicked them as they ran by the rest all ended up with holes and leaking within a year. The plastic gets very brittle. It isn’t thick plastic to begin with, but after being in the sun for a couple months they are super brittle. If you get too close with a weed eater you’ll cut them open like a hot knife through butter.
