Scary that we might need this
I worked in the field for years and this is a great little unit. You need to know what you are looking at however so read up on the basics. I am a bit sad that this is a tool I now use to check foods, the beach sand we lie on and the rain that falls when the winds come from the Pacific and other things I would never have questioned before. But this is a proper tool,

It works well and is a solid product.
The construction is solid and the machine is simple, if you drop this without the wand you have very little to worry about. It does not come with the cable to connect the pulse output to the computer which is odd since they gave me the CD with the counting software for free. other than the missing cable I have no complaints.
