What type of wall material can this be installed on?

I installed with the included wall plugs in drywall. It did become loose after tightening the set screw many times. Ultimately the seller gave me my money back.

Can this be installed facing to the left vs the right as seen in the pictures?

There is a screw on the bottom that you would see if it were left facing.

I can't get the back piece off anyone has a video on how to install?

Remove the Screw on the bottom and try to twist it around and lightly pull. Hope that come out

Does this hold the big rolls of toliet paper without hitting the wall?

For the larger Costco brand toilet paper, it does hit the wall initially. That only lasts until about 1/5th of the roll is gone.
