I got this in today and I ordered them yesterday.. wow.. their nice and solid.. seems to be very well made.. will work for me just fine.. I’ll be buying some more of these one gallon flip/swing top lid glass canning jars..

These jars came package very securely. They wash up easily and seem sturdy. I purchased to store 20 pounds of rice and they are doing the job beautifully. I love the jar style, it really brings me back to my childhood. Would recommend and purchase again, if the need arises.

Absolutely love these! I started making Kiefer water and these jars provide the perfect atmosphere for that. Kiefer water is a bit of a science experiment when you are first starting out so these jars work so well with their size because you can ensure that you are able to fit quite a bit of water. The washer on the lid really keeps it air tight and the hinge action on the lid is perfect. Since they are dishwasher friendly cleaning is no problem! I may be buying more!
