Coping saw for fine work
Does it work? — Absolutely yes! I was able to cut complex shape in a hard coconut shell with ease. Quality is good for the purpose it has been built, don't expect heavy duty hacksaw. A quick tip on fitting the blade: you need to ensure proper tension in the blade. First, firmly fix one end of the blade into the one of mounting point. Then, hold the handle and press the other end of the frame against a wall or any sturdy surface to slightly shorten the distance between the two mounting points. While keeping pressure on the frame, slide the other end of the blade into second mounting and tighten the screws. Once you release the pressure, the blade will automatically tension itself. The more you press the frame, the tighter the blade will be.

This product is not good as it does not secure the blades properly
This saw is not good . The saw threads provided are of low quality and breaks . The saw does not fasten properly. Useless.

Some issue
Tightening mechanism needs improvements, you can't tight the string, so blade gets broken very often, rest all is okay with the product.

Excellent Value for Money
Good product. Excellent Value for money. You need to use this in the proper way with the curring blade properly tensioned and secure. I think most of the negative comments are amatter of "Bad Carpenter Blames His Tools"

Very good quality tool, people who are saying the blades are fragile read this.
The build quality of the frame is excellent. The blade used in piercing saw is very brittle unlike conventional hacksaw blades. Just a small bend will break it. The blades should be fixed to the frame along with some tension. Lookup a youtube video on how to attach blades to piercing saw. Or you can follow below steps: 1. orient the serated edges of blades similar to conventional hacksaw and attach to bottom side and tighten knob. 2. Insert other end of the blade into the upper knob of frame and push frame against something (your body or table as shown in second image) and then tighten knob. 3. To confirm the amount of tension, a small flick on blades should give ringing sound(see video)
