Q: What are the dimensions of the cut out hole for the large size? I want to make the cuts this weekend but my door won’t arrive for a few days.

Our large size Wall Entry Pet Door will fit in a cut out of approximately 12" x 18 7/8". Please know we do not recommend cutting into your door until you have your pet door and template in hand, ready to install.

This a wonderful question, Jack! The main difference between the old and new versions is the frame. Our older version had a heavy duty plastic frame, and now the new one has a metal frame. Additionally, the new one has all stainless steel installation hardware.

Q: Is there a more durable replacement flap? My dog has eaten 3 now. The replacements are $30+.
