It is the oil guide rope. After add e liquid, please let the tank stand for at least 7 mins so that the oil guide rope can fully absorb the e liquid and vape smoothly.

what kind of charge cable do i need to replace existing one

I was sent the wrong cable when I purchased this kit but it works with a normal charger for e-cigs, the one where you screw the battery straight into the bottom of the cable and push the top into the charger and then plug it into the wall.
