Best product and pricewise great!
My grandson and I have, every year, attempted to plant a vegetable garden in a very limited space. I have been hunting high and low for affordable raised bed boxes and this year, early, I found Watex. Let me tell you, these have been the BEST purchase I've ever made. I can organize the boxes for the size I need, as many or as few as I need. It helps save space and time putting together. We haven't used the irrigation part yet, but DELIGHTED that it comes with it. We plan on using it in the future. The other good thing about these is that I can store them over the winter to reuse in any configuration I choose - grandson has already planned on how the build will look for the next year!Sturdy material, good price, easily put together, easy to use, easy to store and reuse, easy to cover (we have a feral cat problem) and super easy to adapt to my needs. I can't laud this product enough and recommend it wholeheartedly! I'm so glad I discovered Watex. Check out their other products!

Great for Sloping Ground
When I saw the design on these I knew I found the perfect garden boxes for when you live on a hill. The design allowed me to stagger them down a low slope. I bought 4 sets of 4 to double stack them with the exception of the first one. When stacking 2 sets it locked the 2 pieces together, due to the stagger. I just used one bottom board on every other planter for support. Filling them took more dirt than mentioned. I lined the bottom with weed block, two layers of cardboard, 1/3 bag much, 1/2 bag cow manure, and then 2 cu ft of garden soil. Some of the joint edges cracked off in delivery but I just used them on top. When filling the boxes I could put the bag on the ground and flip over the edge with no damage or distortion. This was much easier than my last raised beds that I laid concrete block and cemented two high. The down part is it is only 6" high. The reason I double stacked. OK for lettuce etc but not for bigger plants. At 6" you will need to fill them to the top, water it down and keep filling to the top or you won't have the depth. Very happy with the end result. Plants are in, waiting to eat.

nice looking and easy to assemble
Products arrived on time. Ordered two units of these to stack them up for veggie with deeper roots. The boards are very easy to assemble! Stacking two levels appear a bit unstable, the overlap between the two layers looks a bit small and there are no additional mechanisms to lock them. This was not an issue though, after I put in garden soil.It is a bit pricy for the footage you get, I had made a 4x4 ft meta raised bed for $60, this one 2x6 ft is smaller but costs $200. Of course this one is much easier to put together, and it comes with a watering system (although I don't need it)

Would love to have a dozen, BUT simply not that affordable!
Very easy to put together, (haven't hooked up the water yet, moving a water source soon), and I would LOVE to have at least 10 more along the northern 8' fence, but the cost is prohibitive...sad. Setting up was quick. I already had the gardening fabric to go over a slightly raised/ leveled area, ready for the pods...I've been raised bed gardening my veggies for a number of years, but I didn't want 4' deep flower beds for my daylilies etc. and this product fit the bill beautifully...$140 was just too much for me to add more and now I'll have to come up with an alternative...but if all you need is one or two...they're perfect!

Just don't count on the watering system.
I bought this to create a little garden. I'm not a gardener, but I thought this looked tidy and would give it a try. I like the self watering feature, so when I'm not well enough to tend to the garden, it can water itself - wrong. My husband checked out the self watering system and he said it was shoddily made and that he'll set up an automatic watering system for me. Aside from that, this was easy to assemble and was put together in just minutes. I think this is a good quality plastic and should last.

This garden is very small
2019 review. For the price I do not feel it is worth the money. I really did not look at the size prior to purchasing it so that is on me. It does go together quite quickly but I feel my money would have been better spent elsewhere. It did arrive chipped in several places. I'm not one to really send back items so I put it together and I am using it. Next time I will look at the size of the item I am buying. I do not recommend this to anyone for the price. As of 2021 this is taking up space in my shed. Getting ready to toss out. Not worth the price. I went and purchased wood and made the garden size I was looking for, including the second tier for half the cost of this garden.

Looks good
I like the flexibility to make it fit my garden and make the height taller as needed. It looks nice, but I noticed a couple of the tongue parts (that slide into the groove of another piece) did not slide in easily and would chip off at the corner. It didn’t compromise the stability of the bed, but I was a little disappointed it could chip so easily.

Perfect for herb gardens!
Great size for an outdoor herb garden. Easy to assemble and maintain. The irrigation system makes caring for the plants super easy.
