an excellent value auto ranging multimeter, portable, decent leads supplied including crocodile clips. seems accurate, does a large range of functions including capacitance measurement.the manual is a poorly written and small but is still readable.it beeps a lot!the auto power off is a little quick to trigger but can easily be over-ridden by holding the select button whilst turning on with the rotary dial.has a handy stand.recommended.

Good price for this type of multi meter. The instructions are difficult to understand though, because they've been badly translated from a foreign language.

A useful home multi meter with many expected functions and some surprising ones.The build quality is reasonably sturdy, with the battery cover incorporating a stand for easy reading of the bright LCD display. The dial was initially questionable when set on a particular function, the display and audible alarm activating as if between functions. This settled down after a few operations and hasn’t re-occurred. The voltage indicator is accurate against my professional calibrated Fluke multimeter, as is the resistance reading, another nice feature is the contact free voltage detection which could be used to find a break in a cable. It certainly worked through a plastered wall. I’m not sure how much I would use the temperature sensing but the probe included certainly worked. It isn’t clear whether or not the leads are fused, I suspect not as the ends don’t screw off to replace potential blown fuses. For this reason I would not use them for reading current. The second pair of leads with crocodile clip ends seem very heavy duty giving confidence in their performance. Protective caps and covers prevent the ends that connect to the meter from blocking with debris.

What a great little multimeter this is.Supplied with two sets of leads (probes and clips), as well as a temperature probe.Although I haven't tested all the features, I have tested against known values of resistors and capacitors and the meter proves to be accurate for these.As others have pointed out, the flashlight feature is quite dim and next to useless i anything but very dim light. But I considered this feature to be a bonus at best and certainly wouldn't use that to sway my opinion.For the price, it can't be beat. And I suspect you would need to pay substantially more to achieve greater functionality.

Great little multi meter packed with features - used it to measure live fuses in an X3 to know which one to use for a dash cam. Will be using it again soon to diagnose a fault with a bust kettle.

I was shopping for a second meter to compliment my Fluke and took a chance purchasing this meter despite my concerns due to the low price. Most cheap meters have flimsy leads that break easily and have displays that are slow and lack niceties like auto range, peak hold, max/min etc but this one has them all PLUS the included leads seem robust, especially the ones with alligator clips.The meter itself is fairly small and fits comfortably in one hand. It has a flip-out stand that seems adequate. The full four digit display is fast, large and bright as well as being very comprehensive. Everything you need to know about whatever range you're testing is show clearly, and there's even a low-battery indicator. It even has a built-in flashlight!Besides my Fluke on the bench, I have several cheap meters scattered around my place from the garage to my glove box and I wish they all were are nice as this inexpensive little meter.

Three sets of test leads were included. The display takes 2 seconds or so to stabilize while taking DC measurements. The power saving option became annoying, but easy to disable. The face plate is easy to see and the dial configuration works well. The display is very difficult to see outdoors on a party cloudy day. Includes an option for temperature measurements for some reason. As always for the price, I would recommend this product.
