Overpriced
Not un-hydrogenated. This product was advertised as non-hydrogenated, but when it arrived I saw nothing on the box label saying that. The label instructions to not refrigerate confirm this. This is not any better than lard from your local grocer, which has very little hydrogenation anyway and is far better for you than Crisco and often better for you than vegetable oil. Overpriced.

This is the best lard going unless you render your own. This product is worth the price.

GOOD STUFF
Now that good ol' lard is back in vogue, food is made tastier by using it. I can recommend this product without reservations. There are other brands to consider, but this one is reasonably priced and adds flavor to foods, including fried chicken, potatoes, and other delights.

Great lard for British meat pies
You need lard for an authentic hot water crust. This stuff is pure and odorless. The real thing.
