Plastic. Not metal as advertised.

Thought they would be cheap or not fit but identical in color,size,fit,thickness as stock.pleasantly surprised I recommend this

Honestly, i did not know what to expect when i purchased this for my 2012 Harley Davidson Dyna. i really was worried about the quality as well as the fitment due to the product description. and the lack of reviews of top of that to boot. let me start off by saying that this product shipped directly from china and it took 16 days to arrive which really wasn’t a big deal to me.. shocking i know since we are all used to next day shipping. the product received four stars due to the fact that it isn’t the best fit nor is it metal (i get that it’s a battery cover, but my old electrical cover WAS metal and the new one was plastic). it tools a bit of playing with it to get it to “pop” on for both the battery and electrical cover but once it was on it seemed like it was firmly on and not stretching due to it being plastic. i also liked the finish of the product. it allowed me to easily put some vinyl stickers on it to spice it up. overall, not bad and it’s super cheap for a harley product and a decent visual upgrade. time will see how my only made in china aftermarket part holds up.

They look cool and darken up the bike nicely. They are easy to install but be very careful. The tabs can snap easily during install. They are light and feel cheap but they look cool. We’ll see how long they last.
