I never know what the appropriate star rating is for a product that basically delivers on the exact promise that you expect from it. Should 5 stars be exceptional and exceeds your expectations? No idea, with my only consolation being that nobody else knows, either. In any case, this tape measure does exactly what you would expect it to do and is well constructed. If you need a tape measure, you won't be disappointed with this one. In particular, I find the measurements easy to read for my old, subpar eyes, so I suppose that is where the fifth star comes in.

It does the job. It’s accurate, easy to use, and has a good grip. We only use it for funnsies. As in while watching the US Olympic Trials we measured out the distances of the long jump. It was amazing to see they were jumping from my front door, through the living room, and landing in the kitchen! Also used to see what the measurements of Amazon products are in real life 😂. No more accidentally ordering miniature items!

For the price did not expect this good of a measuring tape, sides are not sharp like my previous one which would cut your skin if you were not careful while retracting. Strong retraction.Only downside was that two magnetic dots at the front were not glued so they went missing soon, no other issues.

Before finally purchasing this tape measure I have been using the free with purchase tape measure from the harbor tool store. This dilaks tape is not flimsy and I do not have to struggle to get my measurements. This used to be a problem when getting measurements on a ladder. However, this tape has not failed me yet since it is strong enough not to bend. No flexing and bending of the tape. The locking mechanism on the tape works great as well. I expect this tape measure will last longer than my previous tape measure.

Personally I felt this product failed from every perspective because as a designer I expect a lot from any tape measure and this one wasn’t up to the challenges I need in a GREAT TAPE MEASURE and fortunately my GREAT TAPE MEASURE was returned by my contractor and this one I just put in my storage room! In other words it will eventually be given to Goodwill!

This is fantastic! First tape measure I've ever owned that doesn't require the need to move the lever forward to lock it into place. The auto-lock feature is dead-on! No slippage!I pulled out 7 feet of length and held this tape measure straight out in front of me and it bowed nicely but held its arch right in place with dignity. Very impressive!Best tape measure I've ever handled.Great product, great price!Brandon

It would have got 5 stars if the belt clip would have made from better material!!!! If the measuring tape is well made from good material I don't see any issue why not making the belt clip from strong material- after using it few times it had tear off almost completely!!! I am not professional so I'm putting it in my apron ( while woodworking) so maybe for a professional workers it can be more important.

The case is big and heavy, doesn’t seem to be flimsy at all. I like that the measuring tape is long enough to cover most of my needs with one shot. The tape itself is thick and sturdy, with large numbers in different measuring systems. Easy roll button sucks all the tape back in, making it extremely convenient. I would highly recommend.
