Returned my LumeCube Panel Go
Having been initially swept up by the sleek LumeCube marketing videos, I made an impulse buy on the Panel Go. Though it delivered as promised, I realized there might be other options out there. For the cost of one Panel Go, I got two of these IVISII G2 RGB lights (the name sucks) and have been blown away by their versatility. The build quality is phenomenal and though they’re larger, thicker, and noticeably heavier than the LumeCube, I feel like these things would last through an apocalypse. They both came with a similar length USB-A to USB-C cable and the battery life was about the same. Here are the differences:Pros of the IVISII over LumeCube- WAY brighter- RGB lights + cool effects- Color range (cool to warm) is greater- the built in articulating arm doubles as a sturdy stand removing the need for a tripod- I like the tactile on/off switch instead of having to hold the button down on the Panel Go- comes with a carrying bag- comes with the 1/4 20 attachment where the attachment on the LumeCube was an additional $20- I love that you can navigate between the three settings (white, RGB, effects) and it remembers the last setting of all three functions. The LumeCube also does this but only has temperature and brightness- finally, you can mount this to anything and rotate to any position. If you’re shopping for a panel light, you already know how important lighting is and getting that perfect angle is effortless with this lightPros of LumeCube over IVISII- smaller, thinner, lighter and more suitable for pocket transport. I also think this would be much more comfortable mounted to a camera or a hand device over long periods of time. For my purposes, the IVISII lights are almost always stationery so I didn't need the portability- comes with the silicon diffuser which was nice for closeup face shots- has a color LCD on the back instead of just the regular mono-color LCD, though I don’t really miss this feature on the IVISSI- packaging is way nicer- the name is way betterI do wish the IVISII could plug into my computer so I could download more than the 9 built in effects. Specifically, I'd love to have a “fire” effect that looks like a fireplace or an explosion. I’m not sure if the USB cable is just power or if there’s some sort of interface with the computer chip onboard so that down the road I could update the software but I’m guessing not.In summary, if you want a light that can do all the things the Panel Go can do plus more at half the cost (and you’re ok with the bulkier, heavier weight), you won’t regret this purchase.

A smaller and better option than the light saber
I attended a photo class shooting with colored led lights. I was inspired to repeat the shoot, but the items we used were very expensive and heavy to carry around with stick and lightsaber type devices. I searched for a more portable and practical option. I ran into this portable device. As soon as I opened the item I noticed it was not made of some cheap plastic. It comes with its bag and the shoe mount as well as a aluminum attachment to the led housing that gives you options for external attachments light a mic. It has its pros and cons but most importantly you have options to attach more tools to it however it does give you limitations, this did not stop me from buying another . I loved it so much I decided to invest in another and invest in 2 mobile stands and a case that I can carry both lights and it’s accessory’s. I had a mobile battery charger and added this to a case to have a back up source if the light ever dies out I can connect the battery and be able to use the LED. I would highly recommend this device for a cheaper, portable and useful option. Instead of stick that cost hundred of dollars and needs to have a constant electrical source. The creativity options are endless I look forward to creating more cool colored lighting shoots in and out of the studio.

Perfect Light
This a a great light! It is adjustable and gives a beautiful look to the face. It is very strong and I use it for faces when the natural light is not enough.

died on me after 25 jobs.
So the light is cool, before u actually take in on set.Im shooting weddings, so i used it pretty intense as my primary video light for a gimbal and to spice up some detail macro shots, rings watches etc.So what i liked+brightness+menu nvaigation and controls are one of the best on the market.+rgb bright too+battery lasts full day 7-10hrs shoot.- that leg is awful, i would trade it for one 1/4 inch thread mount, but they put it only on that leg.Leg became loose and that thing just wobbling so you always busy fixing that light.1/4 inc adapter unusable, that thing can just fell off,-app control or remote would be cool addition.- it died on me during the shoot, not responding to any buttons, ending up locking into warm light mode at full power so it overheated and i noted that burning PCB smell.

Versatile LED Light - great for more than just video.
I have a few of these now - I initially bought them for their intended purpose as video lights (and they work great for that!) but I find myself using these in a lot of other situations and have been really impressed with their versatility.I recently took a camping trip to a dark sky site where any white lights are strongly discouraged after dark. I set two of these up on compact light stands, set the power to 1% and set the LED color to red and they were perfect for maintaining visibility around the campsite through the night without creating a ton of light pollution or completely ruining my night vision. These are going to be a fixture on future car camping trips or to use during power outages.

More versatile than I initially realized.
This is probably the best value RGB LED I could find out there. I found one that was slightly cheaper, but to change the hue (color) you had to dial in three different specific values to get any certain color. This LED simply cycles through all of its colors super fast. Just that alone was worth paying the ten extra dollars for. Then it has this hinge-arm. At first I just figured it would be slightly helpful in turning in to certain angles on a light stand, but its uses are pretty amazing as I continually use the light. Sometimes I'll turn the arm backwards to make a clip of sorts to hang it on things to provide light from above. Or even clip onto my shirt's neckline when I am in a pinch and I now have this Iron Man-like light source beaming off of my chest. LOL.The arm even makes for a nice leg stands for the light to point up on its own.
