OER 10003445 Headlight Switch Nut

This is the part needed to fix those broken headlight switches on Gen 3 Camaros.

It is what it is, an overpriced piece of plastic. GM engineers should be ashamed to have designed such a horrible way to mount a headlight switch. I'd suggest ordering at least 2-3 because attempting to screw these in place is near impossible without stripping the pos. If someone would manufacture a metal one of these, they'd have a winner. I'm going to try and refigure a different switch and avoid the whole GM design. I'm flabbergasted that I paid about $32 after shipping for two of these .02 cent pierces of plastic. They will work if you completely tear your dash out and make room for your hands to hold things. These will possibly work for you.

Threads didnt seem to be correct had a hard time screwing into headlight switch. Compromised the threads and was ok but certain I wouldn't be able to reuse if I pulled it back out.

Works great. Threads are not the correct pitch but it’s close enough Being plastic and all you could just thread it in by hand first before installing it into the light switch housing.
