Coveraid Therapeutic Concealer Cold Sore

Concealer? MAYBE about 10% better but then highlights any texture of your lip that isn't totally smooth. The pen made by Orajel with green colored medicine works way better and is about 1/2 the price. The green mixes with the redness to create a more natural lip color.This stuff doesn't seem much better than applying regular old cover up make-up to your lip but with Lysine added.

This is LIP COLORED concealer for cold sores. I'm confident that a caucasian person of any gender can wear it, and I would also recommend it for people of other ethnicities with lighter colored lips. I'm giving this five stars because it is the only thing I can find that works like this (bravo, Coveraid), but it really should get dinged stars for coming in only one color (for fairer-skinned people) and because the formulation is a less silky than would be ideal. Coveraid, you all should work with a makeup formulation company to improve the texture of this product without compromising its coverage. Thanks so much for making a product that allowed me to have a meeting without feeling self-conscious about my cold sore.

Wish I could give a no star review. The product was expired the day I got it. Into the garbage it went.

Instant coverage and comfort for your lips. It doesn't last incredibly long and it's hard to squeeze out of the tube but it's worth keeping on hand! I think for my lips it could be a little more pinkish. They tries to hard to make this "flesh toned" but I have very pigmented lips naturally so it looks like I'm wearing lipstick. Wish there were more colors but still happy to babe this in my cosmetic bag.

This is a really good product for covering up and healing cold sores. I was glad to find it because the old product from Oragel, which I used to use, has been discontinued. The only improvement I would make is altering the tip for dispensing the product. It is hard to use because you have to really squeeze it to get the product through the opening.
