Unique, Durable, Titanium, Polarized, Bottle Opener
This glasses is categorized in a LIFESTYLE section. You should not wear this when doing an active sport such as running, boxing, jump-rope, surfing, etc. Anything that involveswild movement should not be done with this on.This glasses is PREMIUM quality. It's made out of titanium. I've never had glasses with such material made of. It feels SOLID, looks GREAT, fits ACCORDINGLY.My advise for those who do purchase this is that you should at least try it for 2 weeks. I say that because the glasses fits tight around your head at first. But if it's given a week or two, the glasses or your head adjusts to the fitting. Plus, Jeff (the one who I emailed) is very accommodating and reasonable. He will let you return it FREE after those two weeks of trial. But you should also be fair and return it in the SAME condition. Also because this glasses is made out of titanium, it's darn HEAVY compared to other glasses. It's so solid and feels DURABLE. I love it.The bottle opener makes the design very UNIQUE and DIFFERENT. It works really well. No other glasses have this, so when you're the only one with this you should feel somewhat special! Go to a bar and open a beer with this and you'll get some attention.I actually found this while shopping for Ray-Bans. And when you compare the price between them...THIS is a must try on glasses. While Ray-Bans do have a lot more choices, their price is just way too high. For NON-polarized plastic Ray-Bans with expensive price tag, I thought I'd give this a try. This one is made unique + bottle opener + titanium + durability + POLARIZED + FREE SHIPPING both ways. Why wouldn't you try this on first??Again, this is a LIFESTYLE glasses. When you're on a drive, walking, or whatever. But if you got a big nose, maybe you could wear this while running. For me, it starts slipping from my nose when its sweaty.Overall, GREAT glasses to add onto your glasses package. I hope they continue to make more types in the future. With this kind of quality and price, this is a steal....Thanks Jeff for always getting back to me so quickly!

I received these sun glasses almost a week ago. For an item like this I try to wait a little longer before posting a review. I like to wait a while to try them out (the bottle openers) then post how I feel. From the moment I took these sun glasses or if the case I could tell that they were of high quality. They are firm and heavy but not to heavy that they will weight down your head, hurt your ears, or the bridge of your nose. The next thing I noticed was the quality of the case that they come in. The case is made of nice materials and opens and closes very nicely. Inside the case is a rather large microfiber cleaning cloth. Usually you get a microfiber bag or a small 2" x 2" microfiber cleaning cloth, but the cloth that comes with the William Painter, The Hook Titanium glasses has to be folded up in bottom of the case. Now on to the glasses. The lenses are super dark and they make it very easy to see on a bright sunny day. They cut down on glare from other objects that would cause you to squint or look away. Your eyes don't hurt after prolonged use and don't cause you to get a head ache. The glasses fit very snug and don't move around on your head while you're wearing them which is good while your playing sports or driving. To be honest I saw them, they looked cool, and they were on sale. My wife bought them for me as a gift. They have exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to open a beer with them yet but as summer is quickly approaching and I hope to rectify that soon. I will update my review if anything changes.

Sunglasses so good, someone stole mine!
Let me start off by saying that I have a rather large head and wide face. 24 inches in circumference to be exact. Typically it's a safe bet that pretty much any pair of cheap sunglasses will have a lens width that is too narrow for my head and will end up looking comical. For the last few years I'd been happy wearing American Optical Original Pilot sunglasses. They're affordable, nicely built, and fit me well.Unfortunately their glass lenses gave them a very front-heavy weight bias and scratched easily. The arms and frame were simply too thin and easily bent out of shape. Basically with 6 months of daily use they would become too worn out and I'd have to buy another pair.I went looking for titanium sunglasses because I like the material and thought it would be a good solution to my problems. First I tried Shwood, but their design was far too narrow for wide faces. Then I stumbled upon William Painter. While I'm typically not a wayfarer guy I decided to take the plunge and buy a pair. Wow, what a pair of sunglasses. Hefty, well-balanced, and wonderful build quality. They were a bit tight on the sides of my head for the first day or so, but then they relaxed and became a perfect fit. I only got to experience these for about a week or so before someone stole them from me in a bar, but they made such an impression that I'm planning on buying another pair very soon. These sunglasses felt so solidly built I'm sure they'd last for several years of daily use without issue. That's a great value when you think about it.Honestly I only have one complaint about these sunglasses: I noticed quickly that the matte finish on the acetate frame and the lenses as well seem to show fingerprints very easily. The lenses are apparently hydrophobic (which I didn't test), but not oleophobic. It didn't bother me though. A quick wipe with the microfiber cloth they included and they look brand new!
