Your vision-impaired friend really really needs one of these!
This thing works! It is small enough to keep in a pocket or on your keys. This was a gift for a friend who has recently become blind. Previously he identified his money by special folds, and by sections in his wallet. This was working for him, except that he felt compelled to double-check with a sighted person for every transaction. Plus, he would only carry 1s, 5s, and 10s. No 20s. Now he verifies the denomination one time, and clicks the corner. When you suddenly lose your sight, you lose the ability to perform independently a huge number of previously simple tasks. This money brailler gives back some of that independence. So, this will emboss 1s, 5s, 10s, 20s, & 50s. And cents. Neither my friend nor I have the strength to emboss a coin! But that's probably not really what the cents one is for. Haven't actually figured that one out yet! This very useful tool has a lovely low price. In fact, it is so inexpensive that the shipping costs were twice the purchase price! But even including shipping, it is a very affordable item that removes a huge obstacle from the life of a blind person. I can't recommend this enough! Everybody with sight impairment or blindness needs one! Be a hero, and give one to your favorite blind person!

Pretty easy to use
Very easy to use, but I wonder if I'm doing it in the correct orientation as it came with no instructions. I wish there were a little more space between denominations so it was easier to press only the one you want. I mark all my bills before putting them back into circulation, as it feels like a courtesy.

Amazing novelty item.
I have used this on my bills, it works great. Can not attest to viability of use. Blind people don't automatically feel if money is marked. Do not have a blind human in my household. As society moves to cashless, not sure how useful this will be.

I wish it had a few more options instead of cents
I wish they had gone ahead and put a marking for a $100 bill instead of doing the cents sign. Other than that, I love this! Money should be accessible to everyone, including the blind. I have a bill reader, but imagine how wonderful it would be to pick up a bill and in the corner be able to feel what it is. That’s what this device does for me! I am in process of Bailing all of the paper money I have in the house and when I spend it, I hope it gets into the hands of somebody else that can feel The Braille and use it.

Need to work on the design
My wife is vision impaired and is going to use it, but she said the 10 and 20 have the center dot not oriented properly so it read different. Also it does go to 100, but its marked with a cent symbol above the braille which makes it confusing for everyone else. She says it'll work but if you use this to teach denominations in braille they will learn wrong and not read 10 and 20 properly.

Braille for money
Small enough for pocket or use as key chain.

Deceptive
So, yes, it is a money brailler BUT! It was given as a gift to my blind friend, who when she opened it up, started to feel it, and was very confused. She’s been blind, all her life raised in a blind school. the thing that makes it so deceptive is that in addition to the braille numbers there is also the actual numbers to imprint and if you’re looking for braille when the number and braille dots are imprinted, it’s very confusing. Also, there was a symbol for cents, and since change is not imprintable with a Brailer that didn’t make any sense either.
