Microwave Bacon Cooker

This product was a disappointment.A number of customers commented on the rack warping after just one use. It did.A small paper slip inside warns against using the rack for more than 10 minutes. In my case, I made three or four cooking cycles of a minute or so, checking my bacon often for signs of burning. For most of the time, the bacon remained semi-cooked. Only toward the end of the cooking session did the bacon crisp. In mid session, I drained excess hot grease since I concluded this would probably be the cause of the rack warping as described by others.In the end, the bacon crisped in an unusual way, becoming hard rather than simply crisp. Could I have overcooked it? I ruined a dozen slices with this thing. I was going to return it, but a long trip to my local UPS store seemed too much bother for about $16. I may use it again some day for a second try or if I'm in a hurry, but I feel I have wasted my money.P.S Before buying this thing, I suggest that you look at some YouTube videos on BAKING your bacon on a cookie sheet in the oven. It works beautifully.There are a number of excellent videos and I can attest to the fact that properly done, this method make perfect bacon every time. Also good to know, is that you can buy rolls of parchment paper (it's sold next to the aluminum foil), and place your bacon on it for cooking. Works great.

The product works good. Nice crispy bacon but it is kind of a pain to set up the bacon and put the skewers through the ends. Also can not use each slot because the bacon will not cook very crispy…..the way I like it.

I wanted to love this bacon cooker. Unfortunately, it warped the first time we used it, so now when it is picked up it should the bacon grease on the floor which makes it unusable. ☹ i have used it about 4 times and wish it was like the first one i bought about 10 years ago.

Of the many similar items available, - and the several different types I have tried - this design is my Favorite. The skewers keep the bacon from shrinking too much. The rack itself keeps the slices separate and collects the grease. The rack will warp slightly in the dishwasher but this does not affect its usefulness. (However the skewers are Not dishwasher safe.) As someone who can't seem to manage cooking bacon in a skillet, this item is a game-changer! In fact this is the second one I have owned - the first one, the very same item, lasted for more than ten years. Overall, the microwave bacon cooker is a great buy!

This works great as long as you keep a eye on it.it melted after the second dish was placed back in microwave .cleaning it was a little bit of a challenge because spaces are so close together. I got something different after this works much better and dishwasher safe

Tray is flimsy and bends easy not happy with product wanders to return

Could be a little longer. Needs cover.

I previously had one of these and while it is convenient and makes great bacon, it is difficult to clean. Also my previous one had an instruction manual that had a breakdown by number of strips and wattage of oven. I miss that.
