I took a chance on this after viewing some YouTube videos and after finding a "renewed" one for under $600. Before using it, I found a YouTube video that demonstrated set-up, calibration, and scanning/software use. First effort, I scanned a Rat Fink model. I am totally impressed with the result and the ease of the scan.

Easy to Use
I was hesitant to purchase any 3D scanner because for every one I looked at there were the one and two star people who claim that the scanner/software is terrible. I took a chance on this after viewing some YouTube videos and after finding a "renewed" one for under $600. Before using it, I found a YouTube video that demonstrated set-up, calibration, and scanning/software use. First effort, I scanned a Rat Fink model.
