That’s probably the worst manufacturer answer I’ve ever seen! They didn’t even read your question. From the picture, they look like front pads to me. I checked the Akebono online catalog and it specifies the 1211a set for my 2017 RAV4 XLE AWD with 296 mm discs. Several factors make ordering this part difficult, but my understanding is that only the LE model has the smaller discs. So I took the risk and placed my order, we’ll see how it goes.
