This is such a creative and engaging way to help teach math skills. There are a few things I definitely would change about the design, but overall, this is a great purchase for the price. The wooden pieces are all polished and smooth. The box is decently sturdy, and put together well. I wish that the lid was hinged, or connected in some way, to make it easier to store. The lid just sits on top of the bottom piece, so if you tip it at all, everything will spill out. It comes with plenty of numbers, symbols, and colored counting sticks. There are only 3 pieces of chalk (which my toddler promptly broke 😑), and the eraser is incredibly tiny. Everything fits well into the storage box, and I LOVE an educational set that comes with it's own storage system. My only complaint about the box portion is that I wish it had separated compartments inside, so that you can keep the sticks, numbers, symbols, chalk, etc. in some kind of order. It's not a deal-breaker, because it is still a great product. There are just so many small pieces, and when they are all loosely tossed into the box, it can be tough to find what you need. I would still recommend this, because it is a wonderful education product for an incredibly reasonable price.

I bought this for my kids as one of their joint gifts for Christmas (3 boys ages 3-6). I'm SO HAPPY that I purchased this! They beg to take turns playing with it and it has really helped make learning to tell time fun. My boys love math, but this has helped them start to learn more about math patterns and number placement for mathematical purposes (1's, 10's, 100's place, for example).At this price point, I'd recommend anyone purchase it for their young kids because it's so versatile! We haven't used the chalkboard side, but I don't know if we will, the surface doesn't seem like it will erase very easily, but I would like to note that it came with a little mini chalkboard eraser, which I didn't notice in the listing, so it was indeed a pleasant surprise :)

Perfect! Actually exceeded my expectations! My 2 year old even loves it! He knows his numbers so he likes to play around with it and put numbers all over the board. My 7 year old nephews love it too! I’ll definitely be needing a few more of these so that everyone can use them at the same time. Completely satisfied with my purchase. The quality is awesome, too! This will definitely last in pristine condition used by multiple children.

We just received this today and for the price it is definitely a great deal. I love that it’s in its own box and everything actually fits back into it for storage. So far my 3.5 year old is having fun popping out tiles and just playing with them, great for smaller kids to quiz numbers and the chalkboard is a nice added feature. All in all I can’t wait to show it to my 5.5 year old and use it to help her with math.

This is such a fun little kit for little learners! My son is almost 4 and we are working on our numbers and beginning addition and subtraction, this has them all. Even a way to learn to tell time as well. The chalkboard and the storage are what made me buy this. It’s lightweight and portable, and I see us getting a lot of use out of it.

The instructions are a hoot. This is made in China. Not normally an issue, but I'm hesitant to allow my children access to this. Especially when involving possibilities of lead paint and the devouring small toy parts. :) That said, its construction is solid. Nothing arrived broken and all parts were included. Closes nicely too keeping all the pieces contained.

I am all for educational learning toys. I bought this for my great-nephew ( afe 4 ). The counting sticks come in a small zip baggie. ( I like that )I also like that the lid is a chalk board. The set comes with a little box of chalk and a little eraser.For the price, this is a great learning tool!

Haven’t officially used this yet since it’s a gift, but I love that it can be used in a variety of ways and it’s very colorful. Nice that it includes a chalkboard too. I just wish the “lid” (chalkboard) slid into place instead of lying on top so it could keep the pieces inside when not in use.

This will be great for teaching child to count, learn time and allow them to be creative using the chalk board.Would highly recommend for anyone that struggles with numbers, as the counting sticks will allow a visual stimuli when trying to add, subtract etc.Best part is that all the parts are able to fit inside the box, making it compact and less likely to lose parts. As it is wooden it is far more robust and has yhe nice aroma of wood. The little animal pictures make it more alluring for a younger child (preschool to possibly age 8 depending on child). If they were to use different images it would be extremely useful for people of all ages with learning difficulties that struggle with numbers.Would definitely recommend

Brought for Christmas present for my young child whose learning numbers at school. I thought this interactive set would help make learning sums fun. With the board to put in our own sums. Sticks to help work out the sums. It also has a blackboard and a few chalks to draw on the reverse of the main board.The main compartment looks well made and sturdy. But the lid unfortunately just sits on the the top of the box with no fixture attached to seal the two parts together. The numbers are printed on card, and stuck to balser wood? Its about 3mm thick so it should withstand a few heavy handed children. Not sure how long the mouth test would last though..The proof will be in the pudding after Christmas. But great first impressions so far

The idea of this is great however it is very loose and doesn’t hold down very well. Not sure if it’s just my one. However it has allowed my son to understand and learn in new ways. It also helps to break down the maths side very easily baring in mind my child is only 4. I definitely loved the added times table at the back. It was a very nice touch.

I am very pleased with the item bought as a birthday present for a young family member. He has been playing with it non-stop so far....and with the added bonus of the chalkboard on one side, has made it fun. He is enjoying using the counters to count his numbers.

My son enjoyed playing with it, it's educational and also fun, bright colours and on the other side of the board you can use it to draw with chalk.I would recommend it for basic counting, learning numbers and also drawing.
