Right now I put the hand soap in it but I just may put the dish soap in it! Took about, 10 to 15 "pumps" for it to come out so be patient... Its working on it! I do love that its not a big splat of soap. Its a richer foam but that could be due to the soap. Either way, I'm saving money! Less soap, less spending! Love foaming soap dispensers! I'm ok with battery operated because our electric bill is enough 🤣 The little blue thing that comes with it is handy. Would prefer not breaking a nail to open the battery compartment! No batteries included though so you'll need 4 AA's!

Giving the fact that the pandemic is going on, things are starting to gear towards being hands-free. This is does the job quite well! It uses 4 AA batteries, which aren't included. I'd recommend buying some rechargeable batteries to save on $$ and throwing out a handful of them.I was playing around with the sensor and it seems to stop once you move your hand away after a short burst of foam. It does leave little drops here and there, but it's no problem as long as you have a towel nearby or something under it. Very easy to use, the only downside is that the bottom part does feel a little cheap, but it's ok as long as you don't drop it or go crazy.

Touch-free is the perfect pandemic soap dispenser, but this is not a good one. They actually replaced the first one because it stopped working after a couple of weeks, but the new one is not much better -- the family pretty much hates it. I followed the instructions to the letter and it's still lackluster at best: weak and inconsistent foam and intermittently just doesn't want to work.UPDATE: have now tried two types of battery, two different soaps, including one that is meant for a foamer refill, and two different dispensers, when they replaced the first. Can't get around the fact that it's just garbage. It is getting recycled.

I bought this dispenser to fit on a pedestal sink because the base is smaller than some other units, it's a square 2 and 3/4 inches.The soap comes out perfectly (really good foam), but the problem is that the dispenser will occasionally dispense soap without sticking your hand anywhere near the motion detector. I'm thinking that sometimes perhaps the unit is fooled by a drop of foam remaining suspended from the dispenser and maybe that is triggering the motion sensor? This is an obvious drawback and is wasteful. So at times, we turn it off completely to be sure that it doesn't dispense soap randomly. (Don't want to find a pile of foaming soap sitting in the sink.) It also is a bit upright, same width top to bottom, which means that it is not quite as steady as it could be and it can tip over if you bump it. So, we fill it full of liquid soap to help give it some weight and steady it, but that has the drawback of possibly wasting more soap if you leave the dispenser on and it "goes off."

It takes 4 AA batteries to operate, and should take all kinds of hand soap. However, you'll need to thin the soap with water, if it was straight from store. Thinning the soap will make this product produce beautiful foam, as advertised.The sensor always triggers, and has not failed to my motion so far.

Really Like this soap dispenser. Easy to use was a snap to put together just a bottom top twist and batteries and wallah! started working. Works well. I like that it doesnt use my electric and that it has a power button that you can shut on and off at your choice. Great for COVID19. No touching has a sensor.

It is very sleek and doesn't take up a bunch of space on the counter. Super easy to set up too, All I had to do was add the soap mixture and it was ready to use. I love how responsive it is, it works when I put my hand under it but it doesn't accidentally pump out soap from my hands being down in the sink below it. It REALLY helps me save on soap too. I would recommend getting one for every sink

Highly recommend this product.The foam come out good, just need a little shake to mix soap and water before use.Motion detection is great too.I just hate the sign " e-home" in front of the bottle. I wish it was just plain white.
