Great shoes!
Ive been searching for awhile now for house shoes to wear. I have a few issues that make shopping for the right shoes more difficult. I have a foot condition that makes unsupportive shoes hurt my feet, that runs into my legs and hips if not supported right. I also have wide feet and problems with sweating/smelly feet. I also can't wear shoes without socks or the sweat/smelly problem is exasperated. The last thing I really needed was a shoe that would allow me to have enough room to put my custom sole into, which this shoe has! These shoes are breathable and there's plenty of room for my feet with the insole inserted, plus if I want to tighten them I can do that with the strap. I feel like I hit the jackpot with these shoes. I can't say how the support is in the shoes since I did not use them but if you need house shoes that function really well and can fit your custom insoles, these are it! Its really nice that these don't make my feet hot. I normally wear like a size 7-7.5 and I ordered a 7.5, they fit perfectly. My insoles are size 7 but they fit in these great as you can see in the photo. Worth the money I spent!

Excellent
This is the second pair purchased after the first ones wore out with plenty of use over 1 year. The comfort and fit is perfect and helped with the foot pain of using less costly slippers. These are priced well because the quality is there. Orthofeet makes very good products.

Great fit
True to size. I have bone separation and a neuroma. These are great for walking around the house and even outside. Easy to slip on and off. They do come with extra inserts so if you don't need as much arch support you don't have to use all the inserts.

Versatile and very comfortable!
Size 5. Inoffensively plain and very comfortable. Easy on/off. Good indoor/outdoor. Material holds up well (they are still presentable after two Rottweilers regularly stomp on my instep). I sometimes forget to change shoes when going out and these pass muster with jeans. Actually worth the money.

Comfortable shoe
I was unsure I would like these shoes after years of wearing Crocs. I had been reading about Crocs and knew I needed to swap my indoor shoes for better support. These shoes really fit the bill. My toes spread out and felt right at home. They have plenty of room and support. My feet don't get so tired, and my legs don't feel so heavy. I really recommend these shoes. They have a sole system so you can get the support you want.

Shoes are too short.
I am a size 7 in almost all shoes. Ordered 7 in this shoe. It was my first pair of Orthofeet shoes but I was disappointed. The length is too short. Either my heel was on top of the back of the shoe or my big toe was rubbing again the front of the shoe. I really liked the way the shoe cupped my heel and it would’ve provided good support if the shoe had been long enough to get my foot all the way inside it. I’ve returned them, regrettably. Can’t decide if I should order next half size larger; I fear they will be too loose on my foot.

Great support means no pain
These were an answer to my wish to have a shoe I could wear all day without pain in the ball of my foot! There are a couple of inserts included and I used the plastic frame arch support ( I have high arches) and it worked like magic! Thank you so much. I will be ordering another pair!

These literally PUT ME INTO BED with my back for three days.
First, when I put these on out of the box, they felt really good. I have a major lower back issue (had surgery on L4-L5-S1 twelve years ago, with mild degeneration now - involving L5-S1). I bought them to wear around the house. Day 1 and 2: great. Day 3: my heels started feeling a little sore (has never happened before). By end of day, both of my heels were definitely sore, but not awful. Day 4: I woke up and COULD BARELY MOVE. My lower back was frozen with pain. It hurt to breathe. And having had surgery and a very long recovery, I knew THAT type of pain: and it wasn’t muscular. This was a deep, strong ache: the type of pain I had for 2-3 days right before emergency back surgery 12 years ago. I called my ortho doc and didn’t even mention I was wearing a new brand of house orthopedic house shoes. It didn’t occur to me at the time that had anything to do with it, even though I haven’t had a severe back issue in 4+ years. My ortho got me in same-day and I had scan that showed TWO slipped/bulging discs. I had a PET scan done on my torso four months ago, for a totally unrelated health concern. At that time, both of those discs were fine, in place with no bulging.I was shocked to hear from my orthopedic surgeon that MULTIPLE patients of his (post-spinal surgery) have had issues with Orthofeet shoes. I was fooled by the pretty high price of these, thinking they’d be better than other shoes I have. So, I’m on Day 3 of being in bed for this back issue, and went back to wearing my other house shoes yesterday (“Walk Hero” mules - although they’re not very high quality uppers, the sole/support is much, much better than these Orthofeet mules - so I highly recommend them as far as support for bad lower back/bad knees - I have the Walk Hero inserts too, in multiple pairs of shoes: boots, sneakers, etc). This was my first pair of Orthofeet. I was looking for a better quality upper than my current, perfectly supportive pair of Walk Hero mules. This was definitely my last pair of Orthofeet shoes. I’m very disappointed, especially considering I had read so many great reviews. FYI: I’m a woman, with size 9US feet: normal width (slightly narrow heel), a normal arch, and slight over-pronation. These “normal width” Orthofeet are definitely too wide for my feet without pretty thick socks.I rarely write detailed reviews like this one, but I was compelled to do so specifically because these shoes were so comfortable in the beginning, even though they were clearly causing my lower back/hips to not align properly. If you have no back issue, these may work well for you. However, my personal opinion is, if you’ve ever had surgery on your lower back, steer clear of these! Or at the very least: if your heels start to hurt while wearing these, stop wearing them.
