Marshall Peter's Rabbit Grooming Brush
Thank you for this really valuable slicker brush product! This Peter's Rabbit Grooming Brush is hands down the very best slicker we have ever used for our persian cats. Yes, it says for rabbits, but my persian babies LOVE this brush. My cats are fully grown, fine, long haired persians. The pins are the perfect length, not too long, to slide down into the tangled fur and detangle the persian fine long hair without hurting them. The Slicker slips through the tangles and smooths out the area so beautifully. It captures the hair that is being shed without pulling good hair out. They shed a great deal and come to us when we show them the Slicker brush. The pins are kind to their skin, but shedding hair doesn't have a chance with this wonderful slicker brush. We brush them daily. Thank you Marshall for carrying Peter's Rabbit Grooming Brush.

Works perfectly! My bunnies shed a lot at different parts of the year, and this brush really helps me stay on top of it. The bristles are tough metal but not too sharp, as my bunnies have never shown signs of it poking them or being too sharp.

Good for grooming but my rabbits don't like it :(
I bought this because I read a good way to bond with your rabbits is to brush them because they're supposed to like it. I tried brushing both of my rabbits with this but they seemed uncomfortable (I think they prefer grooming themselves). However, I did use it to groom my cat and she really liked it so overall, I would say it's a pretty good product.

Super Brush!! Better then the rest!!!
I tried so many brushes before this one. None of them worked worth a dime. I tried combs too. Nope!!! Those stink too. I love Peter's products in the woven grasses and buy them all frequently for my bun-buns, so when I came arcross Peter's Brush, I thought I'd try it since I love the rest, and what do you know? It is excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!! My poor bunnies needed a good brush so badly. I groomed them all the time with the other brushes and combs and it go us no where fast. They had terrible shedding and hair building up that would not come out no matter how long I brushes or combed, and the shedding all over the place was terrible. I was at my wits end when I came across Peter's Brush and it did NOT fail me. This brush had my buns fur in excellent and beautiful condition inside of a week. It works exactly as they all should, but don't. No keeping them groomed as they should be is easier on both me and them and they look beautiful and are so much more comfortable and healthy, because the better you keep them groomed the less hair they will have to process.Buy this brush. Do not hesitate. It works like you wouldn't believe, and my buns, and myself are so thankful. Peter's products ROCK!!!!!!

... be used for rabbits but it would be a good brush for dogs or cats
The bristles are to sharp to actually be used for rabbits but it would be a good brush for dogs or cats.

Happy to have found it.
This brush works really great on the hard to reach spots for my rabbits. Also does not harm or scratch their skin.

Not a very safe product for rabbits...it takes a huge risk of injury/illness that is not necessary for good grooming
This is another product from Peter's that, more or less, stinks. Like many of their nutrition products, they neglect the body of research that has determined the healthiest practices for rabbits. When I opened this thing, I was mortified to find it was a sharp wire brush (I should have read the description closer I suppose). As other members here have noted, rabbits have very delicate skin. Their fur is where their protection comes from...take away that and you have skin that is much more delicate than ours. Wire brushes go right down to the skin. And like people, they can get wounds that get infected (including resistant infections like staph). Unlike people, it can be harder to treat due to them often not showing their pain, fur hiding nasty wounds, and fur making wounds harder to clean/debrid. And unlike people, there is not a wide array of antibiotics for treating infections with resistant bacteria. So more or less, this scratches poor Bunny with metal, taking risks that are not necessary. Try something else before this. Wire brushes can certainly help, but plastic brushes with a clumping agent (water works) to help remove more shedding hair works equally well with much less risk.

nice for removing dandriff
The brush is hard, sharp metal bristles that seem to get into the downy rabbit fur well. My holland lop gets dandriff when his skin is too dry and the brush helps alot with removing the loose hair and dandriff. He doesn't seem to mind the brush when I brush him softly. Do not grab the brush bristles, they are metal and will cause you to get pricked and bleed.
