The seller shipped my item in a timely fashion and followed up with an e-mail to make sure I was satisfied. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for the price, seems accurate enough *by C***K on October 7, 2016* I have no way to calibrate or validate this device, but it seems relatively accurate. When compared to the lux meter on my phone, the numbers are relatively close (same order of magnitude at least) and I'd trust this device over a phone lux meter. I do wish that the little panel that covers up the dome was somehow connected to the meter, through a piece of rubber or something, or that the cover slid down the back. Something that kept it with the device, so that you didn't have to carry around/keep track of it while using the meter. It is pretty amazing to compare light levels in different environments. Since humans see light more or less logarithmically, we don't notice nearly the same discrepancy in light intensity. A regular room may be 100 lux, shade outside may be 25000 lux. In any case, for the price, it's a good little lux meter.
