This adapter allows you to plug your 50 amp RV plug into a 15 amp outlet. As long as you don't overload it it will work great. Just remember it's a 15 amp adapter, so you can't draw more than that through it safely.

Some dogbone RV adapters have a round bulky male receptacle which will not fit into all electric posts in storage units. By trial and error, I realized that the design of this one (a straight blade/prong plug) allows for making a connection on any type of post. Good quality, too.

Perfect for plugging RV into the house to charge the battery, run the refrigerator, or run one air conditioner. (Notice I used the word "or" in that sentence!) I use mine with a Progressive Industries EMS to cut power in case the voltage drops too low. Also, it's best to test your outlets to see which one has the highest voltage--use that one! Mine range from 118v to 122v.

Works good as it should

This worked well for me when I connect the 10/3 extension cord to it, so we can run a heater and the refrigerator when not camping.

We had an incident where we couldn't plug in our RV to the power outlet in a campground recently unless we detached our car and toad. The outlet was completely at the very back of the site so this will definitely come in handy.

If you have a 30 amp Rv and can only plug into a 50 amp site, then this product is what you will need.
