I'm not sure there is much to say about this. It seems very solid and works great. It fits my lathe and I have used it effectively numerous times since getting it. I'm happy with the reasonable price and I feel like it will serve me well for a long time.

Needs a good cleaning, it took about 45 minutes with a brush, paint thinner and compressed air to free it up properly, afterwards it works just fine. I’d suggest soaking it in the plastic container it came in. If you work hard at getting the grit out it will eventually adjust freely, I used gear oil afterwards with good results. I’d buy it again. The jaws do not have serrations but grip firmly anyway, it does work without cleaning but is very chunchie and rough. The taper is cut precisely, I don’t have a way to check the run out but for use in a tailstock that’s not super critical. Bit of a shame the manufacturer doe not put it through an ultrasonic cleaner after assembly thus producing a 5 star devise.

A nicely machined 5/8" keyed MT2 chuck, very robust and good quality, with key and JT6 taper adapter at a good competitive price - I recommend this drill or small lathe chuck.
