Normal People [DVD] [2020]

Just as expected thanks

I really enjoyed this dvd. Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar Jones were inspired casting as Connell & Marianne. Connell is always so gentle with Marianne but seems to be insecure about how deep her feelings are for him. The sex scenes were tastefully filmed unlike sex scenes in other films where there is action without much (or any) dialogue . I particularly liked the ending when they parted to go their separate ways as both feel safe in the knowledge that they care deeply for one another. Maybe there will be a sequel, I certainly hope so as it would be nice to see if eventually they drift further apart or if they will settle down together. Definitely a movie for a cold afternoon in front of a roaring fire with coffee and cake.

Up there with The Queens Gambit as one of the best TV series this decade so far. Great story, brilliant characters and excellent acting by the young actors. An emotional roller-coaster.Saw this on Netflix and had to buy the DVD to send to friends in France who don't have Netflix. They loved it too.

What a beautiful story interpreted by the most sensitive and believable young actors. So much human emotion and so many of todays societal problems are dealt with ,with understanding and passion. No guns, no violence ,just beauty. A mandatory watch for all young people and those young at heart. Love can win though in the end. Five stars are to few for this stunning piece of work.

The DVD looks in excellent order!I was disappointed in the 'sleeve' that it came in. It seems a 'scrape' was made across the back of the 'sleeve' which unfortunately spoils the picture there on!! I await you comments.. A replacement sleeve would be beneficial if this is possible please?YoursRobert Palmer

It was an excellent film with some very talented actors, particularly the two leading stars, Daisy Edgar Jones & Paul Mescal.
