Disclaimer: I purchased this kit plus a separate gooseneck uv light, PLUS a larger UV light, PLUS an inexpensive e-file to make it all work, but y'all, this is amazing. My poor natural nails crack and split, and I wanted something to protect them and make them look cute. This is it!!! I just did my nails for the first time ever, so I *definitely* need more practice, but I absolutely love them. It's not hard at all to do. Watch some YouTube videos, and go for it! You'll be so thrilled you did!

Great quality for the price.

My girlfriend has been telling me about the system for over a year. I finally watched the tutorials and bought the set. I’m so happy I did. I made the mistake of ordering the sculpted version and those are for curved nail beds and I didn’t realize it so now I know to order the natural type and I always order the long version so that I can cut it down to medium or short if I want to. After the first few times using the system, I realized I needed a different UV light - one that was on a stand and had more free movement so that I could place my nail at the light at any angle. Don’t skip any of the steps. The longest part of using this system is removing the nails. Soaking them in acetone for about 20 minutes feels longer than it should. These nails look thin (and they are ) but they are strong. I’ve always been a coffin or ballerina shape but slowly changing over to stiletto. I love this system and will not be going back to acrylic.

I've been using Apres primer and gel for over a year. Finally bought the whole system when I got low on gel. Dislike the burning sensation I get when I cure the gel step (BUT, learned if I hold it a litter farther away it doesn't burn). Dislike the light that comes with system. If you do your own nails, BUY A GOOSENECK lamp. It will save you many many attempts of getting rid of air bubbles and proper placement. Lamp works once you can "free" up your second hand.LOVE that my natural nails are not damaged by harsh acrylic or glue. This process is quick, easy, and lasts me as long as 4 weeks if I fail to re-do sooner. Very strong, and easy to remove.

The media could not be loaded.  I love the idea of Gel-X nails. I think it’s a great way for more people to do their nails at home. However, I am not sure the price is justified. There are a lot of brands that have a similar kit for $24.For the directions, I knew how to prep my nails for a gel manicure, but I don’t think that’s helpful direction for someone who is new to doing their nails at home.I do like how you just have to push the top of the LED lamp to turn it on, whereas most have a button on the side you have to press.I like that they have different types of nail tips. However, those are not included in the kit and you would expect them to be with this price.

I bought this because, while I love getting my nails done, I hate spending that money every two weeks. When you go to the nail salon you are always waiting and feel like a dollar sign for the salon. This glue allows me to get at least five days of great nails. This is not doable with any other nail glue. It was worth the money, although I wish this was much cheaper. It is too expensive.

Do not buy this product. I have tried multiple times with no success the nails fall off within a day. I even bought tips from same brand. You cannot return. I’ve tried to give them multiple chances trash products

Extend gel and top coat leaked all over packaging and nearly impossible to pull out of display. Disappointing.
