It was to replace an old one that had the key stuck. It worked well and does the job. Only slight criticism was the keys look very flimsy and might suffer the same fate as the previous one as breaking off in the lock.

Yale is know to make good secure locks but this is bit lightweight as compared to other Yale locks, make be because it is an internal lock. I ordered white colour lock but silver colour lock was delivered so that is the reason why I reduced from 4 stars to 3 stars. Installation which should be easy was little tricky as screw holes are at wrong end, most of the DIY drills have think heads and it is very difficult to drill down straight as drill head touches the door. Also as another reviewer pointed, very difficult to find 3.2mm and 12.5mm drill bits in UK. I used 3 mm bit which helps to insure that screws are tight. But had to do little bit struggle to make a 12.5 mm whole with 12mm drill bit.Overall after installation, I am happy as it is easy to operate and adds extra security to patio door. Key is small size, so you don't need to worry about the weight of extra key added to your key set.

Seems to have done the job and quality is good/average. Good value, key mechanism is not so feely nice but practically works

A good product which proved easy to fit. Purchased two which provide a reasonable levle of security on my aluminium patio doors.
