Though a stunning piece , it isn't without its flaws. The "rubies" are more amber than ruby. The rubber strings that hold the gold beads are simply tied to the peacock piece. One of my knots cane untied the first time I tried it on. Thankfully I was able to recover the flying beads. I am thinking of reworking the rubber strings with something more durable, adding more beads to each string and perhaps adding some red metallic beads to replace some gold ones.

This I truly love. It does not come in your traditional peacocky colors which is one of the reasons I bought it. It's vintage costume material. It did not overwhelm the outfit I wore it with, but did go along with the theme. It is something I could wear with practically anything. It is very solid and so far has held up. It is now one of my favorite pieces. I would buy here again.
