I have arthritis in hip and lumbar stenosis. This is the first stick I've used, and have used it for one walk of two miles.1. Nothing is supplied to hold it together when folded. I've used a velcro strip.2. When trying it around the house I found that the plastic inserts in each section, to allow the bungee to slide without chafing, were a slack fit and were pulled out by the bungee when I folded it. Likewise the handle came out of the top section. I cured this by wrapping a strip of masking tape around the plastic parts to take up the slack and forced them back into the tubes. No problems after that. I didn't return it because it appears that all other sticks are made the same way and would probably need the same work.3. It is easy to adjust, and on my first two mile walk I found the handle to be comfortable. (I don't have any problems with my hand, no arthritis etc) It was very stable and I was able to walk at a fast pace for the first time in a year. It didn't click when I was walking.I think it was worth the £13 I paid. It is the same model currently sold by Boots. (July 2023)If not for the fault with the loose components I'd have awarded 5 stars.

Great walking stick. Has been invaluable during my recent use because of damaging ligaments in my knee. Comfortable to use and very strong. Bargain at the price I paid too
