It keeps my noggin toasty allowing my brain to function at full capacity. Since I received the hat and started wearing it I’ve made discoveries wherever I go. People now call me “The man with a genius hat.” Stephen Hawking has got nothing on me, but that’s probably because he’s dead.

Very well made hat. I have a big head so it’s a little tight on me. Slides up after wearing it for awhile. But the hat is made very good and not cheap at all. If u have a big head I wouldn’t get it. Looks good on my sons head too. If you live in a warm climate like I do this is perfect but if u live in snow this is not the right hat for you.

I was Steve Zissou for Halloween and I needed a red cap to pair with my tuxedo as "Formalwear Steve."I didn't want a hat that would crown too much so this one was perfect. My friend spent a lot of money on his outfit and added the traffic light to his beanie which he had purchased elsewhere.

Great hat, nice and warm. I have a very small head and hats never fit me. If you are like me then this will be perfect as it fits nice and snug over my shaved head and feels very comfortable. The color is a little lighter than what appears picture but it's still a nice color it is more of a dark Heather then a charcoal.the fact that it's 50% wool also allows for it to keep you warm in the cold NY winter months.

I'm bald, so I shave my head every few days and like to keep it clean. My preference is that my hats fit tight. The continuous issue that I have had in the past is that hats have seams and because I am bald they tend to protrude from wherever the seam is pressed against my bare scalp. I'm relieved to say that this hat is knitted perfectly and there is no issue with it looking misshapen on my head.When the hat is flush with my head it comes over the top of my ears but that's not really a gripe for me. What I hoped for when I made my purchase was a snug, svelte-fitting cap and that's exactly how this fits. Couldn't be happier and I will definitely purchase in more colors.

Keep the popeye the sailor man cap in mind and mark your expectations around that. Also note that there is a short (sailor) version and a larger version that “covers the ears” like normal. My preference is the short version.The FABRIC is so sooooooft! I am obsessed with how soft it is. Well, the yellow is the softest. The FIT is snug but it is plenty stretchy. Stylish. Well made. It has a good seam and it looks as if it will last a long time without colors fading nor developing those fuzz balls cheaper cotton skullys get over time. I got compliments on it all day the first time out. I loved it so much that I bought 6 colors.Just get it!

Omg after buying, trying, and returning so many beanies over the last several months, this is the best one by far. It's 50/50 wool and acrylic, and I've never worn anything with that type of blend before, but this hat is warm and incredibly soft.There is also a sewn seam down the side that I'm keeping to the back of my head. And the seam on this hat is a little crooked, which is where this hat gets only 4 stars, but the stretch and comfort make me overlook that.I bought black and will get another one in a bright color. I'll come back and update this post with a pic or 2.

Exactly what I wanted a small sailors hat for the middle of summer! I'm an odd duck but this is a great buy if your looking for a little skull cap! Fabric is good breathable and true black (sometimes they can look navy blue and thats a no from me)

The first line in the item description is "Premium Thick 50% Merino Wool + 50% Acrylic Knit". The tag inside the cap says 100% Acrylic. Wasn't worth the hassle of returning it (I think it was shipped from China) so I just put in on my bald head and wore it. It's ok, just not what I ordered.

I just received today so I cannot comment on longevity but it fits and feels great. It's hard to find a good fitting beanie that doesn't bunch up at the top and fits well.

I like the quality of this material, and I will probably be buying more of these caps. Great colors are offered.
