GIGABYTE GP-P450B 450W ATX Power Supply | Non-Modular | 80 Plus Bronze | Smart Fan | Entry-Level Reliable Power

Reviewing after using it for almost 6 months. So this will be a long term use review with my honest opinions and suggestions. May be this will be a bit lengthy but I will try to vover every aspect of it... 1.Packaging- So the first initial impressions of a product comes from packaging but amazon did a very bad job for it. They delivered the item in the original manufacturer box with some stickers on it. That means no extra protection was included. So, bad to see such things from such big brands like amazon. And for that the box was little damaged while shipping. But thanks to Gigabyte who provided really good foam packaging material inside the box to protect the Power Supply. After all packaging was teribble. I found everything to be safe and brand new. No problems regarding that. We get the power supply with attached cables(no modular system in this price point), instruction manual and Power cord. 2.Performance-Now lets talk about the main item the power supply. But before that lets talk about my system, I know you guys will think me crazy or stupid after listening what I actually paired with just 450w power supply. My PC configuration is Ryzen 5 3600 + Aorus Elite B450 + Gigabyte Gtx 1660 super 2x edition. So at first I know it requires atleast 550w power supply but trust me guys in this 6 months I never found a single problem with this 450w. As it is more capable of delivering high powers when required. That's why you should go with a good brand power suppply with good ratings. Now again coming to main products its really good with 120mm silent cooling fan. The fan never Ramps up in normal condition but when in load it ramps up but still not loud I must say. I like the build quality. There are many connector in this power supply. Starting with 24PIN ATX, 1*8pin CPU,2*8Pin PCIE for gpu,7 sata, 6 molex with 1 floppy connector. So overall it is nice. It is not a modular power supply but thats fine in this price point. Their is another version available of it with high watt rating of 550w, model is p550b. See guys this is great power supply with 80 plus bronze rating. Oh I forgot about the cable quality. Here is why it is better than Corsair Vs450, it comes with black flat cables. Every cables are black flat type so it gives a premium loook of PC. So after alll great for price that it comes, I got it for about Rs.3000. A great deal. 3. Conclusion- Just go for it, no problem regarding any thing just keep in mind its is a non-modular power supply so you have to do cable management for extra cables. Otherwise no power supply in this proce point have such a great quality with such pros. It is better than Corsair vs450. Pros- 1. Good Quality Material is used. 2. Best Cable type(flat and black) in this price range. 3. Many connectors available.(Rather than dual 8 pin cpu, only 1 8 pin cpu is their) . 4. Good power delivery. 5. Silent fan. 6. Long wires Cons- 1. Lots of wires fir cable management. 2. Bad pacakaging. Thats it for now. If you like it thrn thanks. Hope it helps you.

If its gigabyte then just buy it, best product great built quality. Durable for heavy load.

I purchased one unit. It didnt work. Got it replaced. I fitted the unit but the PC wouldn't power up. I somehow got the unit working but after 2.5 months it stopped working. Now this PSU doesn't power up I hear the sound of a relay tripping but doesn't start and no voltage coming on the connectors.

Worth the price you spend it :) for 2,500/- you may have many choices on internet but the best 450w bronze certified psu is only gigabyte p450b, 1. Packing is very good and delivery is also good but they take around 9 days to deliver my product. 2. When I ordered this psu I was worried for the power pin bcoz it's a big pin, we want to buy a adaptor for this, but when I opened the box I was shocked bcoz the pin they have changed to the regular power pin i was very much satisfied 😃 so don't worry about the pin they changed it.. 3. And come to the cables it's really very good for cable management, pure black looks awesome... 4. And i only hear a little notice on my nzxt h510 cabinet but I don't know the noise is from the case fan or from the psu but it's not a problem it's not noisy psu... So go for it.. it is a very good psu <3

Disadvantages: Not a single one till now About Seller - The box was not sealed, but product was completely new and fine

So for working well

Upon installing this in my system, I noticed the fan was spinning however it was not powering the rest of my system sufficiently. My GPU was not being powered at all and my motherboard was not being powered enough to turn on any fans. This almost caused my CPU to overheat. After swapping out cables for spares that came with the PSU and ensuring they were definitely plugged in properly, the problem persisted and I had to return the item. Upon reinstalling my old PSU, the system functioned fine which leads me to believe that this was the problem.

Excelente custo benefício (R$ 699,00 quando comprei) para uma fonte 750W Gold de boa marca, vem com 2 cabos PCI-E 6+2 pinos, que foi suficiente para minha 4070 ti, se precisar de um terceiro cabo é complicado de achar no Brasil, pelo menos de boa procedência (nesse caso uma fonte que já venha com 3 cabos PCI-E ou mesmo que venha com o conector 12VHPWR que vai direto da fonte para as placas de vídeo série 40 talvez fosse mais indicado).

He estado usando la fuente una semana tras tener que cambiar la fuente anterior que murió después de causar problemas durante unos meses, tenía una de 550 W no certificada que funcionó medianamente bien durante casi un año, luego empezaron los problemas y al arrancar cualquier juego pegaba pantallazos aunque antes también lo hacía de manera muy puntual, esto ahora ya no pasa, no he sentido ningún problema al ejecutar nada nada, todo funciona correcto y no noto "calentones", mi equipo ahora si es estable, puedo correr casi cualquier juego y voy sobrado de potencia, una cosa importante de esta fuente es que dispone de más cableado del que puedas llegar a usar; 4pcie (6+2), 24 pines, 3 molex, 6 Sata, y 8 pines para el procesador, siendo muy recomendada para cualquier pc que necesite todas estas conexiones, cables bastante largos y con la sección suficiente, la fuente se ve solida, silenciosa y con muy buenos componentes, muy diferente a lo que sientes con una de las fuentes baratas.
