EVOHeads Will Roll Cleansing Conditioner for Curly Hair - Moisturizing Curl Defining & Frizz Eliminating

Great quality
I've tried so many co-washes and this is one of the better ones for sure. Nice smell, and just a great quality. Very expensive but I guess its worth it amd to be expected with higher end products. I would purchase it again probably.

Different formula than from shop?
I’ve been using Heads Will Roll for about a year now and loving the results. I had been ordering it directly from Evo, but it was out of stock on their website for a while, so I decided to order it through Amazon. Upon opening it, I noticed the color was off (darker and more yellow than the stuff straight from Evo) and it wasn’t rinsing as well, leaving sticky residue, tight scalp, and giving my hair that straw-like feel others have complained about. Not sure if this is old stock or a different formula (ingredients on the bottles matched, so who knows), but I’ll be ordering directly from Evo from now on.

Gross.
If you like the idea of washing your hair with body lotion, this is the product for you. My hair has truly never felt dirtier, heavier, and oilier than after using this product. Save your money, honestly Pantene is better than this garbage.

What is the fragrance in The Heads Will Roll Co-wash?!
I just had my hair stylist use this co-wash on me when I was at the salon and I love the smell of it so much. I’ve been google searching “evo heads will roll scent” and nothing pops up. Would anyone happen to know the fragrance notes from this product?!?! I’m dying to find any type of cologne or perfume that resembles this product’s fragrance. Oh and this product is also amazing on my hair!!

Blah
I have not been impressed with this conditioner. It leaves a weird texture to my hair once it’s dry, like it’s never really rinsed out. I have tried rinsing my hair longer even and no difference. I bought it in advance before my old products ran out. I wish I still had the option to return it, because I would. 😔

Disappointing residue - updated
The first time you use it you will find that you’re questioning if you forgot to rinse it out. Then you’ll try it again and know for sure that you rinsed it out really well.Cute name, cute little description. Not so cute residue.Kudos to the seller for responding to my review right away. Changed from 1-3 owing to follow up.

Expensive for this travel size but I loved it!
So this travel sized product is pricy but it does give you chance to test this product without forking out for a full sized product that may not work for your hair type. This is a low foaming conditioning wash (or cowash) that is marketed for curly hair. I’ve tried many cowashes before and this is one of the best I’ve tried for my fine hair. It doesn’t foam much but I use a scalp massage brush to give my scalp a really good clean and then rinsed and repeated. I didn’t seem to have to use as much as others did but I still got really lovely results with a nice tight curl that was well moisturised and easy to brush through before styling. I will definitely be buying the full sized bottle of this cowash when this travel sized one is finished as I really do love it!

Left my hair feeing matted
Disappointing. This letter my hair feeling unconditioned (still squeaky, like aftershapooing it) and made it feel dry.I also wouldn't say it does a very good job at cleaning the scalp either... I endedup reverting back to shampoo as I felt my hair was starting to smell using this.

Worth a try
Firstly, I’m really happy to see a company offering a trial size at a lower price. Products for curly hair are often so expensive and I have countless bottles that I bought, which were really expensive, which I’ve used once or twice and just haven’t worked for me.I have a mix of 3B and 2C curls. That may mean something to some of you but for those who are not following the curly girl method or who don’t know the curl pattern, it just means I have curls rather than waves. My hair is quite frizzy and gets very dry. This was very easy to use and smells like a mixture of honeydew melon and men’s shaving foam! It’s nice! Honestly I thought it must have perfume in but once I checked the ingredients and satisfied myself that it didn’t, I was quite surprised! speaking of ingredients, they all look pretty good. You can check this on various websites if you’re into that sort of thing. This does have a silicone in it but the silicone it uses in this is dissolvable. (Look for the number in front of anything ending in ‘ONE’ and that means it dissolves with water or is water-soluble. I spent a fair amount of time checking out labels and ingredients in my journey for getting the perfect curls. It would be a full-time job if I did it properly but I’ve begun to do trial and error!)I think the silicone is what has helped my hair to not frizz up as much as it normally would. Also it feels quite light overall, although my scalp doesn’t feel so great - it feels a little bit greasy. I wonder if I needed to wash it out a bit more.Overall though I’m really happy with the results and I’ll probably give this another couple of tries. The bottle has enough for me to get three washes out of it which will last almost 3 weeks - I only wash once a week. In between I generally wet and just condition. I didn’t do anything differently when I did my hair with this. So I didn’t use any other shampoo or conditioner and I used my normal gel, scrunch it in a special towel (like a T-shirt) and then let it dry a bit before diffusing a little at the end.I would say that it’s worth buying the small size to try out as I am quite impressed. It’s definitely one of the better ones I’ve tried and you need to try it a few times before you make a decision for yourself. What usually works for my hair is the Garnier banana conditioner. This gives me better results I would say than that. I can get my hair looking better and feeling better but it’s really hit and miss and it doesn’t always relate to the price of used! Welcome to curly hair! It’s such a pain! But the rewards are worth it I think, otherwise we’ll just get out the GHD‘s wouldn’t we?

DONT BOTHER
Would give it ZERO STARS IF I COULD. Please don’t waste your money! I have vivid rainbow hair and was looking to try co washing to maintain the colour longer. Despite having been bleached under the colour my hair is in very good condition and not dry or damaged. This left my hair extremely dry, frizzy and somehow feeling brittle and sticky. Even after having to rinse for ages to make sure the product was all out.
