WOW. Got this RC car and let me just cut to the chase - it is a BLAST to drive. It’s blazing fast, especially on pavement, but I mainly use it on the lawn. I’m having a blast tearing it up on the lawn, and so far it’s super durable. I’ve jumped it over a curb, did a full flip, drove it off stairs, through the bushes, and it just trucks along. Battery life has been good so far, and best part is it comes with two of them!*I will caution that I was having an issue with one of my batteries, so I contacted Customer Support. They were very helpful and responsive, and told me I probably had overcharged the battery. I had left it on the charger for over 24 hours, so that was probably the issue. So be careful and remove it from the charger once the indicator shows it’s fully charged.*Anyways my kids love this thing, my dog was chasing it around and couldn’t even keep up - so he got a work out! I really love that the controller has a speed control on it. So I can have it a full throttle for me - but then dial it back low for my 3 y/o. It’s slow enough that he can drive it and not lose control - and he has a ball with it. I think he’s driven it more than me!A few cons for me - and maybe this is just nitpicking (because I still don’t feel like it’s worth taking stars off for) - is just a couple of design choices. First, the plastic car form body that goes over the platform and axles is secured using several cotter pin clips. Now I’m not super familiar with the RC world, so maybe this is normal, but it takes a minute to get the body off to get access to the battery. The battery is also secured with another cotter pin clip. Now this definitely makes everything secure, but it’s just a tiny bit time consuming to do that every time you want to put the battery in and out. They’re also pretty tiny clips. I’ve already lost a couple just dropping them on the ground with my fat fingers, and then I can’t find them on the floor. They do provide several spare clips in the accessories bag though, so that’s nice. The other thing is the open platform underneath the plastic body easily collects grass clippings, leaves, etc. - probably because this thing is ripping so fast! But I just wish it was a little more closed off so I wasn’t trying to blow out debris. Could be that just helps with air flow and weight, but I’m not sure.Bottom line, GET THIS if you’re looking for a fun RC car to entertain adults, children, and pets alike! Great Fun car! First of all, this car is FAST. I could barely control it until I lowered the speed (Of course I am old!). My sons did a lot better than I did even in the fast speed. The older one plays a lot of video games so I wasn't surprised. He was even able to drive it around my condo (I just ran into everything). I would definitely recommend this for outside use.The speed is adjustable, which is great for different ages. Even at a somewhat lower speed this car can do drifting and doughnuts quite remarkably. You can trim the car to get the wheels straight before driving or during. There was absolutely no problem in pairing it up, just turn on and go. The controls were responsive and immediate. Only thing, the wheel for steering is on the right side which is normal, but if you are left handed I don't know how easy it would be or if that would make it difficult to steer.Batteries (2 were included) are big and last a while. You can only charge one at a time with the supplied USB cable. I did find changing batteries a little bit cumbersome because you had to remove 4 clips to remove the body and then an additional clip on the battery holder to take out the battery. Put in the new battery then replace all the clips. It does have an on/off switch which you can get to even after the body is on by bending the body slightly to get your finger in to slide the switch on or off.Traction on this thing is great. The tires seem to be hollow and squishy but take on the road quite well. It goes easily over rough terrain and smooth surfaces as well. So far the car has been very durable (did I mention I crashed it into everything?). With that being said, watch out for those clips, as after a wall crash one flew off and it was hard to find. The good thing is they give you 4 extra clips.All in all this is a great RC car and my family really enjoys it. I would highly recommend it.

For the price, this truck is great. But as with everything else DeeRC they are 25% slower and smaller than the speed and scale they advertise. Which is really unfortunate, cause if they would be truthful about these stats it would still be a great price. And you'd feel you could trust the company. The controller works well enough. But is made of cheap abs plastic which feels light and brittle. All in all the truck is durable and great for the price. With a little knowledge on how to do repairs you should have a working RC truck for many years to come. If you can figure out the size and specs of everything it should not be a problem to swap for more powerful parts. The gears and axles look like they could handle it!
