Bob's Red Mill Organic Corn Grits/Polenta, 24oz (4 Pack)

Love grits. These non GMO organic grits are delicious. Hadn’t been able to get them delivered, so I’m extremely pleased with this product. They great quality, creamy texture, you shouldn’t have to mention gluten free because corn has no gluten (duh). Versatility with other polenta dishes is excellent. I’m not Italian so I wouldn’t know how maíz became a polenta, but I’m sure it’s delicious that way as well. Since we have a multicultural household, I do everything I can to avoid GMO foods. We really don’t need insecticide in the DNA of the corn seed (or soy for that matter). I cringe at the thought of giving my family cancer causing foods (Monsanto glyphosate is in the DNA of 90 % of corn and soy grown in the USA.

Sooooo yummy. I'll never buy grits again! So easy to make a batch of solid polenta to fry or use as a base for a meal. I was a breakfast chef, and this is a quality product at a good price.

I love this polenta and was so happy to find it here. It’s very traditional in Brazil, and we use it a lot, but I had a hard time finding it locally until I found it on Amazon. It’s great as a main dish for everyday meals, especially with kids, because it’s filling and very versatile. After cooking it, you can also fry the leftovers, and it tastes even better the next day.

I LOVE these grits. I wish that I knew about these grits years ago. I DO NOW! I keep me a bag or 2. Very good and healthy. Delicious like grits should be. Tastes like back in the old days at grandma's house down south

Great product but the shipping time is AWFUL

Nice coarse grind. I use it under my sourdough to keep it from sticking. Also make creamy polenta. It takes longer to cook than instant, but the taste and texture is superior to instant.

These grits are delicious and creamy! I will be purchasing these from now on and will not be going back to the old fashioned. They are a little more expensive for the amount you get.

This was my first purchase of Bob's Red Mill Yellow Corn Polenta, though I've purchased many of their other products in the past. As a retired professional chef, I’ve had plenty of experience with Bob’s other fine products. I ran out of “brand X” cornmeal the other day, and since I was already making an Amazon order, I thought I’d give this product a try. This morning, I made a batch of corn muffins using this product in a standard cornbread recipe, adding just a bit of sugar…they’re muffins after all. I am amazed that a recipe that’s otherwise so simple can be taken all the way to the next level by simply using this quality cornmeal/polenta. Not only was the flavor spot on, but the mouth feel was way beyond reproach. A whole new experience for me. Now, I’ll never change brands again. This product is not only organic and esoteric, but also cost competitive. My old brand, though not as good, was a bit more expensive. Go figure. I’m so inspired, I plan to make a nice polenta for dinner tonight. Thank you, Bob, may you rest in peace, and all your dedicated owner employees. Just one more reason why the USA is the best place on earth.
