I still get sick, or have to visit the immune-compromised. I also work around constructions sites and I've started wearing masks so I'm not blowing black soot into the tissue when I get home. These extenders plus a one strap mask are my preferred solution, gets the strap off the ears for comfort and I can still pull it down easily when I want without having to take it off.A multi-pack is good because I regularly misplace them. By the time I've found one again I've lost another. Now I have enough that I always have one available.

I wasn't sure about the item but my ears were so sore that I gave them a shot. To my surprise they work great. No more pressure on my ears and you can adjust it to your liking.

Now that school has started for me I am wearing a mask for the better part of most days. I quickly found out that the elastic bands that go behind your ears would start irritating my skin and eventually cause an open wound that never heals because of constant new damage.I pictured something in my head that would solve my problem and figured "someone's already invented it for sure." A little creative google searching later and I found these little guys. The design is much better than what I had designed in my head. It's made from a rubber/plastic type material with little nubs. You put your mask on like normal, then you reach behind your head and place the device. You stretch each ear band and attach to one side of the device and voila! no more elastic touching your skin.The only downside is something that probably only affects me. I happen to have a very distinguished nose (a huge honker) and this item pulls back on the mask a little more then normal so certain features are accentuated. In a toss up between having my ears constantly rubbed raw or having my nose pitch a tent with my mask, I'll take the tent every time.

Works as advertised. I picked these up for European flight thinking I would wear them to prevent the soreness from my ears but they just didn't work out for me. The mask stays on tight with no glasses fogging but when worn properly I definitely felt a lot more pressure on the bridge of my nose so I stopped using them because I found the nose discomfort to be worse than the ear discomfort.

Pain to use, keep track of, annoying on back of head. Used the first knobs closes to center, which left the rest to flop around.Just get plastic hooks. I managed to keep these longer than this product.

My husband loves these! He used them on a long transcontinental flight and they were comfortable the whole trip. They are great for making an uncomfortable mask comfortable.

Seems like the only option for me is the last slot and the others seem more for children. They're pretty small.
