I got this for my kids because they loved it at school. The kit works great, but there is one major problem. The packets are designed to be used for multiple balls, but they are not resealable. This, coupled with the fact that the cardboard box it comes in has plenty of gaps around the bottom, means that unless you use up the entire kit the first time, you'll end up with grains of bouncy-ball all over the floor. Perhaps consider ordering a pack of small ziplock bags along with this.

These were a lot of fun to create with kids. They do dry out over time and become less bouncy and then turn hard in about a few months but can be re-hydrated easy to give it a good bounce again.

I received all components except the hexagonal mold only had half and the other half of it was the bubble mold-which would make for an interesting bouncy ball but they don’t fit together. I bought this to do with my summer camp and am disappointed that we won’t be able to use all of the molds.Edit 8/25/21 I received a replacement today (perfect for next year’s camp!) which had all the pieces that were supposed to be included! I am looking forward to trying out all of the molds!

I thought this would be a fun craft for my daughter but the balls were horrible. The only thing this does is make a mess.

Did these with a 6yr old and she enjoyed every minute!! It takes a little supervision to avoid a mess, but we did each step on its own paper plate to keep pieces separate and tidy:)Tips: fill to the top *plus* a few extra grains- it’s worth cutting the excess off the top to avoid funny divots and dimples :) also put into the water SLOWLY or air bubbles may push some of your top crystals out. We did the timing according to the instructions but then also let them sit for another 5-10 min to air dry and get rid of tackiness. Lots of fun - still have more for a second go-around!From the 6yrold:: “it was really fun. You can use different colors to make them. They do turn out really good and they ARE fun to make!” :) :)

Got this for my 6 yr old grandson. The happiness on his face told me how much he liked it. Simple to do just waiting periods to dry but we played counting down time games. Great gift!

I like the process but it’s messy sand will be everywhere lol but this is the 2nd time i bought this one before somewhere else and it worked great . This one the balls don’t bounce and they can hurt each other it’s so hard.Pass on this set .
