DO NOT under any circumstances install this for devices that require more than a combined total of 80 amps? But to be safe, honestly, you should keep it under maybe 50. Most people who need a bus bar need way more power than that. Several car amplifiers? Sub-woofers? Marine? You need something that can handle 500-1000 amps. Sure, it may work when you hook it up, but the low conductivity is going to cause it to get hot, maybe melt or even catch on fire! This bus bar IS sturdy for the money, you can get these pretty cheap on Aliexpress too, if you want to wait a month or two. But BRASS has a conductivity rating of 28% and Nickel only 22%. I bought a 1/4"x3/4" copper blank and drilled 4 holes in it and slid it down the studs on top of the bus bar and bolted it down. If you plan to use this, I suggest you do the same.

I used this buss bar as a remote turn on point for multiple car audio amplifiers. I had seven amps to turn on, and using this buss bar is a safe way to run the wires to turn on each of the amplifiers.

Very easy to install and worked great in my hot rod project to connect and centralize ignition connections. Only needed one wire then from the bus to the ignition switch
