Brilliant
I was really surprised at how good this is. Impact gun had rounded the head on an M10 bolt. Attached this and the bolt came straight out.

It's rather large so need a little space to use it.
Absolutely the best purchase ever. I snapped an exhaust stud on my motorcycle. Spent hours trying to remove it and gave up. Ordered the sealey stud extractor and bang it was out in two minutes I was so impressed it gave me the confidence to remove all of the studs on the engine which it did with ease.

Game changer for stud removal
This thing amazed me. Had some steel bolts that had become one with the aluminium they were screwed into on an old Porsche. When trying to undo them the heads sheared off the bolts. Penetrating fluid and heat and a stud extractor used with a half inch ratchet just snapped the stud further down. Tried the same with this Sealey one and didn’t expect a better result. Because the Sealey is designed to use with your impact wrench it exerts even torque and got both snapped studs out first try! Thanks Sealey 👍🏻

It works!
Was sceptical about this at first ..... scenario : typical exhaust studs seized into the head that no amount of heat / double nuts etc could shift .... ended up stripping the remaining threads and was basically left with a rough pin. Looked at this item, read the views and thought what have I got to lose.Initially impressed with the solidity of the thing .... Still not convinced ..... it has 3 x jaws so to get a bit more positive purchase on the stripped stud I files 3 x small flats at 120° along the stud.Applied some heat, locked on the device and applied some torque fully expecting it to just rotate/slide around .... but no!It gripped very well, no slippage and the stud was removed ....... all 6 x of the previously stripped and siezed studs were removed ..... an item that works and is a must-have for any home mechanic or professional.

Cheap tak
As you can see in the photo the teeth don't align so it would be impossible to securely grip a bolt and would lead to slipping.Requested a replacement and I haven't even opened it because I ca see the teeth lose and rattling around so have requested a refund.Either these are just cheap as you like or they are being smashed around something chronic in the post either way I find a local car/toolshop and buy from there.

Perfect fit and extraction
Great quality and took me about 10mins to remove 12 exhaust manifold studs. Amazing what you can do with the right tool.

Worked first time
Expensive tool but if you need it, it does the job really well. Removed a stubborn stud first time after many moments of stressing!
