DANGEROUS!
Very cheap blade! I was cutting hardy backer with this blade on the grinder and all of a sudden the blade caught throwing it straight into my pants. Once it caught my pants, it rolled them up tearing them to shreds! By the time the I could react the grinder had already seized up because it had so much of my jeans rolled up in them.. right in my crotch area! I was freaking out! I thought I had maybe cut my baby maker off!.., but after about a minute of untangling all of the material out of the grinder, I checked everything over and the boys were ok. Just had one tiny little scratch. That was the closest call I have ever had in my life!Needless to say, I think I am going to stick to the Pearl Abrasive blades instead. You get what you pay for...

Know what you’re purchasing.
These blades are fantastic. For those of you saying you’re trying to put them in a wet saw and they don’t fit - there’s a reason - they’re not for your wet saw! They’re for a grinder. I use these to miter tiles and notch out as needed. The last one I purchased is still working and I did a ton of miters on the shower and the tub surround I just finished. These blades are worth their weight in gold. Some are getting duds or using them for the wrong reasons.

... blade for quite a while now and am very satisfied with it
I have been using this blade for quite a while now and am very satisfied with it. I previously had the turquoise one (another brand which used to be the best) but it developed cracks. So far this blade has been perfect, cutting everything I tried from porcelain to concrete. I have been using 4" dry cutting blades since they first started producing them in the early eighties. One thing about you need to be careful of is using thin blades for shaping and profiling . This activity wears down one side of the blade more than the other causing more heat as well as unbalanced wear. This can cause cracking and eventually breakage of the blade. I would NEVER recommend using without a blade guard on the grinder. I have seen one break apart and a chip embed itself in a piece of wood nearby. Its always a good idea to visually inspect the blade before and after every use. I will update this review as it becomes necessary but for now I'm quite satisfied and I've been using dry diamond blades almost every day since the eighties.Rick, a tile contractor for 38 years.UPDATE: Since my original review I have had 3 more that developed cracks and it wasn't due to uneven wear .While I do like these blades I figured I should amend my review. Hopefully the manufacturer will address this problem.

I used this one and it did great. I was cutting 2" tiles set on a ...
I'm not much for writing reviews, but I always read them. But this time I decided to put my thoughts to "paper." I was looking for a new blade for my wet saw to do a tile backsplash using ceramic tiles. Every blade I looked at said it the blade chipped or something. Well, I used this one and it did great. I was cutting 2" tiles set on a web backing and anytime I needed a cut had to take the tile/tiles that I needed loose. So I was always cutting relatively small tiles. This blade did a really good job. The only time I had an issue was if I pushed the cut too fast - this was especially true as I was at the final edge getting ready to cut through the final edge of the tile. Sometimes it would break off/chip the very top corner. Probably my issue as much as the blade, but I never lost a single tile to a bad cut. Don't be concerned with buying this blade for your tile work!

Surprising Performance at This Price Point
While using a wet saw to cut mosaic tiles for a bathroom floor, we discovered that the water from the saw loosened the glue that holds the mosaics to their mesh backing. Some would come off, and the mesh - rather than remaining somewhat rigid - became pliable to the point where the tiles that did stay attached did not keep their proper spacing. It was a nightmare. So, we bought a score and snap tile cutter (after watching a video of the device being used to effortlessly and beautifully cut porcelain mosaic tiles) and discovered that the tiles we're using are too hard for such a cutter.Enter this blade. Attached to a sliding miter saw with good dust collection, this blade made quick and accurate work of dozens upon dozens of straight cuts. The cuts were clean when we started and clean when we finished. We started each cut moving the blade from back to front, just scoring the surface of the porcelain. Then we cut a little deeper in the same direction, and finished with a third pass from front to rear. This sounds like a lot of extra motion, but it worked out to a little over a minute for each sheet of tiles. The result was sharp edges with virtually no chipping. This blade is also set up like the ultra thin cutting blades we use for woodworking. The outer half of the blade (at the rim) is quite thin, removes (wastes) less material than a standard blade, provides less resistance when cutting, and has a thicker body at the center of the blade that keeps everything stiff and pretty wobble free. At the end of the job, the cutting surfaces on either side of the rim appear minimally worn. I suspect it could handle two or more similar jobs. One important heads-up. I forgot to turn on the dust collection a couple of times. Turns out dry cutting porcelain tile makes a spray of fine particles and plumes of dust. If you don't use effective dust collection, you will have quite a mess to clean up and porcelain dust in your nose, mouth, and lungs. A doctor would probably advise against the latter. What a pleasant surprise to get such a good blade at such a reasonable cost. Good on the manufacturer.Jim

A little diamond ...diamond blade ...
What a great little blade , I used it to cut porcelain tiles (10mm) and it breezed through them , used a bit of timber as a straight edge and then scored the tile a few times and then just free handed the last bit , note the fine slither I was able to take off in the picture . I only had to make about 12 cuts for a tiled porch so don't know how long it will last but I will take that all day long .

Rubbish, just lost my money
It's chipping of even the simple ceramic 8mm tiles also i've tried on porcelain as had to do small area of patio with no joy. Wouldn't recommend to anyone that they prefer to keep that money or spend it on your kids.

Cuts like a ribbon
Bought this so my brother could do his floor tiles in bathroom. Hard to find one with the correct opening size but this has bit options. He said it was brilliant. Cut like a ribbon.

A great blade
So after trying numerous tile cutting blades this kiddy is the one. Cuts cleaned and easier then the others at similar price. Would not go back to the others.

Excellent blade, excellent price.
Bought this to use with my table wet saw. Used it for a full day to cut 20mm porcelain tiles. It cut beautifully, much better than the vitram blade it was replacing.Still got another day's worth of cutting to do and am fully confident it will be up to the job.
